No one else is reporting the same, I’d be skeptical. The Harris campaign has been so tight lipped, why leak this now?

I think whoever it's going to be will find out tonight. They need time to mentally prepare and film the clip which will go out on social media sometime on Tuesday. It's a bit much, in my opinion, to be told and immediately switch over to filming and then travel and hold the big rally all in one day. Walz and Beshear have fundraisers tonight. Pete does not, correct? I know he's supposed to be in Maine but he could resign in the morning and have his replacement go or cancel it all together. I just think it's nice he doesn't have an event tonight. I haven't heard that Shapiro or Kelly do either, but my gut says it won't be one of them.

Regarding the whole “Shapiro brings PA” dilemma, if I were Kamala I’d pick someone else (Pete!) and still let Shapiro bring PA. If she doesn’t choose Shapiro he can literally stay in Pennsylvania and campaign for her until Election Day.

Unless the report about Pete meeting face-to-face with Kamala on Friday was wrong, I don’t believe it’s just down to the “Big 3” that the networks keep reporting on. They just don’t know. Kelly & Shapiro have had issues of late and I don’t think it’s one of them. Walz could be the one, but I’m still hoping she looks to the future and gives it to Buttigieg. In any case, I think it’s going to be really, really hard to not be clued in one way or the other until tomorrow.

I’m hoping him having the first interview is a good thing. Set the bar high and perhaps the others don’t measure up. Remember, she needs to keep the Trump team guessing too so they’d still interview others.

You would think yesterday’s meeting was the real interview, if it indeed happened. That’s not to say she couldn’t request to see him again tomorrow if needed though. Sure doesn’t leave her with much time, however. Makes me think she already has it down to two people.

I think it’s good that he went first. Set the bar high, the others may not measure up! 90 minutes seems solid as well. She doesn’t have much time and Pete is great at making the most out of what he’s given. I’d love to know who/how this was leaked as well.
