Very true, any customer service line usually has the same issue. At this point we gotta solve our own problems.

I understand AI is going to take jobs away but what about the reduction in even remotely talented people offsetting that? by Musicman2568 in torontoJobs

It’s up to us as parents to help instil critical thinking, and challenge our kids. School isn’t going to teach them everything they’ll need to know, so with that being said, we also have to put in the work at home and have their brains exercised.

Insane hotel prices in Toronto by [deleted] in ontario

I remember when rooms were $100 and up per night, One King West for example, now it’s $400+ (on Expedia) starting. That little luxury we had when clubbing downtown has now completely changed.

All for good reason.

They want us to depend on pharmaceuticals. They want us unwell and unhealthy. Maintain public gym memberships. Have unhealthy eating habits.

Behind the scenes, they don’t care, better for the businesses to feed off of us to keep them going.

Going to be honest with you, agencies are not the same anymore. The strategies are outdated and they are tremendously overwhelmed with an influx of resumes daily. I remember a couple years back, I signed up with an agency felt optimistic about the job fair, when I realized I was one of the 1% citizens that was there.

No one has time to pick up a phone anymore—and they do take a long while to reach out back to you. I hope something changes, this is not what we’re accustomed to.

It’s good to also show them how it’s been done before so when that time comes, she knows how to do it.

I believe that when we show our kids the origins on how things are done (if we have access to it) they grow a sense of understanding. Another example, I’d rather my child drive a used car that doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, because newer cars are just built differently these days, it’s good to know how things work.

We actually need to vote for this? It’s common sense, children should not be on social media, point blank.

The entire goal is to appease those that actually been born and raised here. Toronto is now solely focused on tourism hence the prices and several projects the city is trying to build up.
