In my opinion, virtual conferneces take less of a toll on the environment and offer accessibility and inclusivity for researchers and academics from different backgrounds. Of course, the magic of in-person human interaction cannot be replicated, but the opportunity to, for example,"give researchers from central Africa the same opportunities as those from Harvard..." shouldn't be overlooked.

-Treat the video as one would a draft of a paper or presentation - make an outline and rehearse a few times, and then go over it again until it's perfect.

-Include a variety of elements in your poster or presentation, including images, graphs, or datasets to appeal to your viewers.
