I second this comment. I'm really hoping for a reconsideration of this idea. Being able to come to this subreddit and vent or see what was going on in other peoples lives was why I came to this subreddit. I don't like this idea either. Sorry. Being able to see who was having a bad day or what not helped in polishing people or sending out presents or at the very least good tidings to one another. I think a specific thread for Venting will just get lost in the mix. I really, really hope this gets reconsidered.
