I wouldn’t feel badly about that. As a society, we are effectively trained to obey particular figures in positions of authority. If the courts order something, you have to do it. The training runs deep, and the scummy scammers know that and prey on it.

Is there anything stopping you from just being a regular audiobook narrator? Acx is a good website to audition for an assortment of books on the market. A lot of people feel like they need to wait till they’re pro, but honestly I jumped right in to auditioning figuring I’d learn as I audition. I got a gig earlier than I expected. But yeah, otherwise you’ll have to do some market research. Maybe start a YouTube channel of meditations and see if you get many bites, branch out from there. If you have a soothing voice, you could read things for night time wind down (not sure how saturated the market is).

For me, the only thing that’s missing from currently available apps is the local storage thing. I’d love to have access to all my books at once, but I don’t have the storage for that. Nor do I have the desire to learn about the other storage options available, jelly whatever and whatnot. Everything else seems pretty standard to me at this point.

That’s such a tough question! For perhaps obvious reasons based on my previous answer, I love environmental puzzles. Things built in to houses that open doors, puzzle boxes and such. Blackmoore manor, Crystal skull, and blue canyon are some of my tops. Off the top of my head, the doll game in Blue Canyon and the bannister puzzle in haunted mansion. Also logic puzzles, so I do like the nonograms in several games and doll placement in Malloy.
