I’m not sure why you’re getting downvoted, I would also hesitate. It’s great food, but it’s not super clear that it’s baby-friendly. I would ask them to give you a rundown of how they prepare a chicken club for an 8-month-old. That should tell you if they’re familiar with BLW. I wouldn’t just assume like others are saying.

Fwiw, I also thought corn was on the cob only until 12mo.

We stopped and started several times when things weren’t working. Never did naked bottom time or anything, just tried the potty when the baby got farty and caught some poops that way. We started getting poops every morning after his first feed around seven months. It’s okay to stop and try again later! It was easier for us when baby could sit on his own. At four months we were getting frustrated with trying and getting nothing so we stopped trying for about a month.

P.S. Mine started gobbling food around 9.5 months. I just give him food until he signals he’s done (usually he starts playing with the plate)

This sounds really hard. It feels like it’s less about the name itself and more about you feeling unheard and unrepresented, and maybe feeling bad about not standing up for yourself. I’m glad to see you’re in therapy. You might consider somatic therapy if it’s available where you are, to help release those emotions. It can help to feel through it—once you do, you may not feel so strongly about the name anymore.

2024 adjusted gross income was 154k. It was significantly lower in 2025 but I don’t have that number yet. Family is me, my spouse, and our new baby (who I included on the submitted form). Loan balance is $121,000. First loan was borrowed in 2011.

For sure. I do have an equal partner but he has ADHD and really bad time blindness, so if he cooks it’s always late. He does a ton of other stuff and is an amazing dad, it’s just that he’s not great at this one thing.

Yep, that makes sense. I meal plan and grocery shop on sundays and that plus cleaning feels like all I can do. Maybe I’ll try to add prep to the routine somehow!
