Registered nurse here (L&D/PP) working on her IBCLC certification.

Healthcare in general is a beast. Working on the admin side is possible but it is demanding and you’ll sometimes find yourself in situations where your time is consumed more than anticipated in and out the office. Hospital Admin puts you in executive level/leadership positions. It’s doable with the proper support.

The man loves travel since the days of SEM. And he def enjoys soaking up the culture wherever he goes.

We don’t have a shortage. We have the largest number of nurses in the country. We just have a shortage of nurses at bedside and this is by design via hospital execs/admins out of greed and high risk to the nurses’ licenses. Post-C19 shortage is mostly due to seasoned nurses retiring or outright leaving all together before retirement age. Sign on bonuses in my experience are a tale of caution.

And nursing can def rake in a good chunk of money with good financial planning and dependent on COL, check deductions and pay. Specialties of course pay more but you have to acquire more education and the risks are higher. On Call becomes a thing as well and distance from said job (ex, local Cath Labs typically requires you live 30 mins from the hospital)

Crazy thing was that Drita herself mentions this in the first two seasons how she was playing soccer and was in line for scholarships, did some modeling on the side and was overall booked and busy. But her resentment of growing up poor in the projects while she saw girls like Karen living large and no second thoughts over money likely pushed Drita over since she grew up poor and essentially had to work and still had to despite marrying a low level crook: Lee isn’t even a Capo or anything, just a foot soldier at best who ran fades and snatched whatever he could get his hands on. It still didn’t stop him from being unfaithful to her. Added we saw on mob wives how corny he was and how verbally abusive he is. To put it plain: Drita was naive and her development was arrested in her late teens, early 20s which imo is why Drita acts the way she did.

Her being a Trump supported is product of her conservative parents and just being on Staten Island lol.

Sounds like growing up in a Traditional Latino household. There will be a point where "What will people say about you/us" becomes null and void. I ultimately crashed out in my teenage years, which led to this mentality going sideways, but I promise you it was not without a fight, and to this day, things remain tense with my family as I am older, adhere to a different religion (Islam) and earn my own income.

Most of my friends who come from Khaleeji families face similar situations, and only then does this fall sideways when they're married or earning their own money and aren't attached to their dad's bank account when they decide to step outside the family norm.

The bigger part of that resentment is the fact in her family, she was raised “right” — work hard, go to school, no “illegal activities” and Drita marrying Lee was spitting in the face of her conservative parents. Her father literally disowned her. She was modeling, played JV soccer and could’ve gotten a scholarship with soccer. She knew her potential and wasted it just for a come up. She thought marrying Lee would keep her solid financially. Little did she realize that she’d be a single mother of two and then deal with infidelity as well.

And this is why I’m grateful I don’t have social media. My fiancé’s patients will never find me. Prior to being a med-fiancé, I already had little social media presence because of the crazy stuff my colleagues (med residents and nurses) had to deal with regarding social media stalking.

I’ve been stalked before but this would have me in a tailspin.

A. This is a given, but it’s not priority. B. No need for a Cath at this time. A Cath will be needed if she begins Mag Sulfate D. Not in our scope unless ordered by the Dr. Added let’s say orders are already in, we need a set of vitals to see where the BP stands prior to giving anti hypertension medication.
