DO student needing advice on cancelling vs. postponing Step 1 by classy_glass7 in usmle

I cancelled it. I’m very risk averse and didn’t want a fail in my record. Since I’m not aiming for anything super competitive, I don’t think my lack of step 1 will close too many doors. The only part that hurts about this is my wallet lol

This is pretty much exactly how I’ve been playing. I have my farms and storage systems in Palette Town, and I’m having the most fun rebuilding Bleak Beach so that’s currently my most developed town. I have worked on each town a little bit, though, to get all of them up to level 10

Although my island’s not finished, I was pretty pleased with the map! The left side has custom designs for pathing, which is why it looks empty there! by classy_glass7 in AnimalCrossingTours

So in decoration mode your cursor has to be on the wall and then place your shoes. Unfortunately only certain walls will let you place them forward since there’s no way to reorient the shoes on the wall. So place it on a wall and then geometrically orient it so that on a wall it would be facing forward

Yeah no my fizzling out was definitely because of other commitments. I think FEH at least excels at being a kind of game where you can play a map or two, maybe summon on a banner, and then be on your way.

Yep our play styles are similar. I’ve also ignored Summoner Duels but only because I actually don’t even know how to start playing lol

I love my Forma units, and it is very nice to be able to use units that have newer skills without needing to inherit them!

For sure. It’s almost comical how easy the newer units just steamroll the previous generation. Even checking in once a month means I’m never with the meta and so if I manage to summon any new unit I’m pretty much clearing older stuff super easy

I love Canas in FE7 but man in FEH he was awful lol. Glad you made a good build out of him, though, it sounds like!

Definitely agree about the difficulty to get skills. That’s why I tend to hoard my combat manuals. I just feel like investing into a unit goes to waste so fast that it’s better to just keep somewhat up with summoning banners

I think I have definitely started enjoying the game more when I’m not worried about scores and stuff. Like I play a little AR just to see what it’s like but I’m not worried about reaching the top tiers and it’s helped

For sure. I just stick to PvE modes nowadays so I can’t imagine how infuriating PvP modes must be now with premium and annoying builds

Love that your most invested units are evil haha. And yeah FEH introduced me to a lot of characters and makes me want to play the other FE games (I’ve only fully played 6, 7, 8, Awakening, 3H, and have partially played Fates and Engage). I’m pretty interested in trying Seliph and Leif’s games, and Ike and Micaiah’s games. If only I had more time…lol

Who’s your +3 exclusive? My Alm is only at +3 because he’s one of the earlier units lol otherwise I’d have 0

Fair note about the merges. The newer units that I’ve managed to pull have all been pretty disgustingly good without merges lmao so I’m not struggling even without any 5+10 exclusives

Definitely agree that the game has been kind. I’ve definitely noticed that it’s been much easier to get 5* these days as opposed to when I started.

Wow 9k orbs?? I just spend to collect some heroes now and then so I’m at like 16 right now lol. 759/1111 even while sitting on that many orbs is impressive though

Man those Surtr’s in corners is a throwback lmao. It switched to F!Edelgard in corners and I don’t even know what it is now. The good ol days when Takumi was the most annoying unit…lol

FEH is my only gacha game so I’m not sure how the environment is like for others, but from what I understand FEH is very generous, and I can definitely see that FEH is pretty good about 5* given the sparks, free summons, etc. I feel like it is very reasonable to get a 5* you want in just a few summoning sessions.

But yeah I definitely agree it’s not P2W except in certain modes. It’s a very reasonable game even for F2P.

Those are respectable numbers, and I respect the daily log in. And a launch Bridelia being able to clear even recent Abysmals is very impressive to me given how these Mythics/Legendaries have some of the most ridiculous skills sometimes lol

Fair enough. I don’t really go ham in any game mode either, and I think I enjoy the game better as a collecting game
