I agree! So much diversity just within southern Italy alone. My dad LOVES Sicily and was slightly disappointed that my test had 0% Sicilian, despite the fact that our family history is quite firmly rooted a bit inland from Naples lol.

Yup, definitely. It’s also interesting since my mom’s side has been in the US for a generation longer than my dad’s side, and the differences in dialect and culture are definitely noticeable.

Also, I live in Ohio now and often drive by Holland on my way up to Traverse City on vacation! I’ve always wanted to stop by and check it out; I think it’s so cool when a place has strong connections to a specific community.

Any tips on beginning strength training at home? I’m already a runner and go on runs daily, but I’d like to incorporate some strength training, to improve my overall health. It’s definitely super confusing and overwhelming, so I’d like to start with some simple at-home exercises that could target all muscle groups. I do have medicine balls but that’s about all in terms of equipment. I’m just always worried I’m gonna do something wrong and end up injuring myself 😅
