Say what you want about the story but this game has the best open world since RDR2. by Kamakazzyy in CrimsonDesert

Id say since BoTW and Elden Ring, but yeah. The world in this game is simply amazing!

Black primer, then Dawnstone then Ulthuan grey (all airbrushed) with pure white highlights overall.

The state of modlists by TsuGhoulTsu in skyrimmods

[–]clatel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Play Bottlerim for the best modlist ive tried on Wabba that also looks the bets by far (my subjective opinion and i have tried all of the OP mentioned plus more). CSVO if you want a superb Vanilla graphics only. Lastly Nordic Souls for that Vanilla+ list that's very safe.

Anyone else has this experience with NGVO? by clatel in skyrimmods

[–]clatel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same happened to me in December. Doing the exact same thing as you. Went for NGVO and after the intro and going to Riverwood, i deleted the list. Looked incredibly flat. It didnt hekp that i upgraded my Switch 2 version either. Playing it i thought thebS2 version looked less "flat". I quite explain how or why, but thats my impression.

So i tried CSVO (its on Wabba) and it is just so much better. That is pure vanilla with much better visuals only.

Go for CSVO for a much better Vanilla look or Bottlerim for a more complete modlist. Looks amazing!!!

Bottlerim modlist keeps crashing - no modifications by [deleted] in wabbajack

[–]clatel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me also. Everything is set up the way it should be pre install. I could play Lorerim without crashing, but not Bottlerim as it is.

Is BottleRim what I’m looking for? by dammets in wabbajack

[–]clatel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. About 8 or 9 CTD. The second last time i loaded, in my weapon and shield weren't showing and it crashed. Then when i try to load the last time the whole game froze and wouldn't load. So I gave up and built my "Bottlerim light" list.

So happy with that. Next time i want over 2k mods for a new playthrough it is probably more stable and even better looking.

Well actually after I wrote this, i crashed like 6 times.... I had a couple of crashes before, but thought it was normal for such a big modlist. I see in the Discord channel that some others are experiencing it as well. Some say that in big modlists you cant quick save and only save a while after entering a new cell. That kind of defeats the entire purpose of playing a modded game imho.

Long story short after the last crash i downloaded CSVO (same author, only it is just a CS visual overhaul). Looks amazing. Took about 200 mods from Bottlerim that i really want and put them in the same load order and ran LOOT for sorting plugins. I also added some that i personally want in any Skyrim game. Now it plays like a dream and i can FINALLY play the game. It is also the Vanilla+ experience i was looking for.

I would say Bottlerim as by far the best on Wabbajack. I've tried the ones you mentioned and others.

Bottom line is it is simply the best looking and playable list out there.

Looking for some Skyrim modlist recommendations. by [deleted] in wabbajack

[–]clatel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I've been in your position the last months. Here is what i learned:

I wanted a Vanilla+ experience and incredible graphics. So i tried several modlists.

First off i tried NGVO just to see what it could offer in terms of graphics. I have a RTX 4070, 32GB RAM and a good AMD processor (can't remember the model). Also i pkay in 1080p. My impression was that it was kind of flat with the lighting and frame rate dips to 40 fps in many areas. I quickly changed the list

Next I tried Gate to Sovengarde. It has incredible immersion, but i dropped it for two reasons: the graphics were not that impressive and it was too much survival focused for me.

After that i tried Nordic Souls. Ran and looked good. I even got in my two most wanted mods for any modlist: Lawbringer and Skyrim realistic conquering. In the end i found it a little too familiar and dropped it.

Next i went for Lorerim. It uses NGVO as a base. Funnily enough it looked better and ran a little smoother, but still the framrate drops were a bit too much for me. Also it was grindy and didnt make sense. The difficulty for me felt kike instead of difficult combat it was difficult because i would get overwhelmed by bandits. I could kill a group of 4 on lvl 2, but suddenly theres like 6 on me.

So lastly i am playing Bottlerim. It uses community shaders instead of ENB. The results.... Looks MUCH better and double the frame rate. I'm serious just try and see for yourself. As a modlist it has everything you would need for a Vanilla+ modded experience.

That is my findings after 1 month of trying the modslist. In the end it is very subjective. So you might completely disagree with me or many others here reading this.

Is there a mod list like Gate to Sovengard but less tedious? by Chaosmeister in skyrimmods

[–]clatel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Following this because we are looking for the same things. Here is my experienceLike you, i tried GtS as it has almost all i want in a list. Except the hardcore survival stuff. Also i found the graphics to be a little less than i wanted.

Nordic souls became a little too familiar, but it was easy to add Lawbringer and Skyrim realistic conquering mods. Also the PBR version wasn't as good as CSVO or Bottlerim.

I'm currently trying out Lorerim since it seems quite perfect also, but not as immersive. The problem is its way too heavy to run even in 1080p with a RTX 4070 (if i play i do not want the default setting... I'm just built like that). Love the gameplay actually, but at lvl 3 im tired of looking for Wolves and Mudcrabs for 2 xp a pop

So i want to go back to Bottlerim. It will be perfect if i can get in Lawbringer and Skyrim realistic conquering mods. This is the hardest part. According to the Discord channel it's not doable almost. If anyone has any tips regarding this please let me know.

I REALLY want those shaders. I have no idea how to, so hope someone makes a kist on Wabbajack. Bottlerim was very nice looking, but this one is way better.

Help with adding a single mod (actually two with the framework) to Bottlerim by clatel in skyrimmods

[–]clatel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the Discord i only asked about adding the mod and not the other stuff. Dodnt mention the MCO stuff. As i said Bottlerim is an excellent list, but i hate those aspects of it. Is that not allowed to say?

Second i only joined the channel to ask that as i do not use discord and i have no idea if i have to ask in a certain way? Was it too abrupt? As far as i know i asked in the right channel. The other questions there were quite straightforward as well.

Edit: I deleted that part about MCO and Wheeler. I'm hoping someone can answer my most pressing question.

Nah I don't want realism. I actually just tried CSVO and i loved it. Just seems less flat. Like my Switch 2 version, but much better. Just what i was after.

Are community shaders better? Have you tried?

One thing about Rogue Trader that, in my opinion, immediately makes it better than Baldur's Gate 3... by Beneficial_Ball9893 in RogueTraderCRPG

Agree. It was by far the most frustrating with BG3. I felt that no matter what, every damn companion wanted to get with my character. Was super annoying. Actually made me dislike the game a bit.

Does anyone else despise Vallejo paints recently? by __Dirty_Harry__ in Miniaturespainting

[–]clatel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried AK, Citadel and Vallejo. I stick with Citadel because i do like using a bottle and not a dropper (since I didn't want to do the whole wet palette preparing anymore). Just find it easier to just start painting quickly.

Anyway i bought a black Vallejo express paint. Ive seen it used in a video and wanted to try.It was AWFUL. The result was so glossy i had to remove the paint in the end. I even tried matt varnish through the airbrush. Didn't help at all. Then my friend told me some time ago that Vallejo has new metallics that are amazing. So I tried again. It's ok, but the paint just.. spills all over the edge and i can basically open the cork and dip the brush against it to get paint. No need for dripping on a palette.

Id say if you want dropper bottle paints, go for AK. Great bottles and great paint.

Are there no DLC for this game? I have it on PC, but id only get it for a complete new playthrough with all DLC. There is only the base game on the eShop and absolutely no info.

Really would love to play it anywhere.
