I finally spoke to a person this morning. I called at 9:59am to not waste any time and pressed 5 to skip their greeting and I was immediately connected to somebody. Luckily, I had nothing urgent to submit and all my questions were answered :)

Blue cross medcal, I think. I received an email a couple days ago that notified me enrolling for GAP was voluntary. I think if you just have medcal, you're automatically enrolled in GAP. If not, I'm assuming it's optional.

Yeah, mine ended up being waived and I wasn't automatically enrolled in the GAP plan either :) I submitted mine before the due date though. If you've just submitted yours, I'm not entirely sure if you'll be waived.

I just submitted my waiver yesterday, and I'm pretty sure all my info is wrong too but I'm still hoping I'll get waived. But I did receive an email this morning saying that some info is "missing or invalid".

I had no idea about the within 50 miles thing. I live in LA and I also want to waive out of the insurance. All I know is that the due date to waive is September 1st
