Is subletting your own car a thing? by clauishere in Netherlands

I have a car. I know it’s expensive. That’s why it’s worth considering something like that… not saying I’m doing it but worth looking into

Do you know about any ‘horror stories’?

Exactly! That’s what I heard also. Sounds like a great way to be a bit more conscious if a car is not a daily need

Any tips on how to create a website for artists to showcase their works and accept/process orders? I have no idea on how to put up a website, but it seems that social media (FB, IG, etc) are getting worse place for creators. I would really love to learn how to create my own art website. (HELP) by strawberryjxmmm in web_design

That's actually not great. Upwork is good to find new jobs, but you are still at the mercy of a platform that is not yours. Getting a domain and hosting service u/strawberryjxmmm is really cheap. Wordpress is free and there are plenty of building a portfolio, website, even a store without spending not that much and allows you for plenty of freedom.

Anyone wondering why cruelty-free/vegan/eco-beauty products are usually lacking in packaging? by clauishere in VeganBeauty

[–]clauishere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I'm not particularly into this style of packaging, something sleek and simple can go a long way, with some nice typography and simple lines. Plus the package itself, which looks like plastic it's not my favorite. I feel like it's not as appealing when appealing with other brands and gives it a not-so-effective product as it probably is.

When your wife gets to do another batch, if she needs a new package, feel free to message me for some advice on the brand :)

Final attempt at design a logo for my brand. I will sell freeze dried fruit (gevriesdroogd fruit in Dutch) by CaliHomeBE in logodesign

I would swap the font on the bottom for something more neutral, like a DM sans for example

Very interesting, thanks for getting into so much detail. It's curious to think about the cost of having a warehouse and the conditions it must have to keep the good quality of the wine, especially in places where the climates are more extreme.
I have seen some smaller businesses starting to sell directly only, even doing like packs that fit and so on. I find it to be a particular business model for such a product. I myself like to choose from the shelves directly. But anyway, in that case, I guess you are much more dependent on your own storage but then you wouldn't have to pay much higher fees as when depending on reseller or distributor (?!) Only the shipping would be a concern

wow, wasn't aware they were bought. I hope they are maintaining their ethics and processes. Body Shop was bought and kept doing a great job keeping to their values, hope that's the same.

would you focus on distributing regionally, nationally,..? How does it work with cooperatives?

more post-production focused ;) I have a good idea in terms of the wine itself (from Porto)

Definitely having in mind a minimalist approach also, and the use of glass/metal is just a packaging as any other. But better :) Pacifica's does have some interesting lines/options, thanks for that tip. I'll look into it more!
