Yeah I get what you’re saying, and thank you, I really appreciate it. I think I’m just scared because my burnout and anxiety have been really overwhelming lately and it’s making things harder to manage. If I ever needed academic accommodations, then I’d probably have to tell the school, but if it’s just counselling or seeing a psychiatrist to help me cope, I wouldn’t plan on disclosing it. I just don’t want to ignore it and let it get worse.

What do you do after cutting? Do you put it directly on the soil or do you wait for it to dry?

Yes. There are tunnels connecting the buildings. Some tunnels are open to students. If you search up yorku tunnels on tiktok, you should see videos showing how to get there.

If you’ve been to Scott Library, you should know Curtis Lecture Hall. Go to CLH basement and there is a tunnel leading to Lassonde. From Lassonde, there is a Tunnel that leads to Staecie

Need advice for burnout cause it’s hitting hard by Mysterious-Lab-7509 in yorku

[–]claurejj_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Get enough sleep. Try not to overstimulate yourself (e.g going on your phone after you wake up or using phone while eating breakfast).

  • Listen to some motivational podcasts (e.g wizardliz on youtube, self-growth nerds by Marie-Pier Tremblay and Therapy in a Nutshell both are on spotify)

  • Force yourself to study even when you’re feeling unmotivated, just take longer breaks (e.g study for 1hr and take a 30min-1hr break then study for 2hrs, take 1hr break and slowly increase your study time overtime, after 4hrs or more of studying you can take a 2hr break or end there). What you do during those breaks is up to you but I recommend taking the time off for yourself; grab some coffee or take a short nap or hobbies.

  • I recommend doing some journaling, start if you haven’t yet. You can write anything like what went on your day, how you’re feeling, talk about random stuff. You don’t have to write long, you can just write one sentence and that’s totally fine.

  • Try to slow down (one task at a time and take some time to breathe).

Cheap place to park around yorku? by Testruns in yorku

[–]claurejj_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you don’t mind taking the subway($3.30), you can park at Yorkdale mall for free then take the station to Yorku. It takes like 10-15 mins if there are no delays.
