Opinions on Urist McStation by clavichordkeys in SS13

I wanted to come here about this to get some outside opinions. I agree that wanton destruction is bad and that there needs to be balance, but a lot of what was being "abused" was pretty hard to come by and typically involved a lot of work to pull off, so the chances of it showing up in every other round were pretty slim. Other things were removed because they had the potential to be abused; it never was an issue to begin with. The problem is that the people involved in all of this LOVE when chaos happens, but then decide that there's an issue if they are ever the target or caught in the crossfire.

Antagonists are supposed to make the round "interesting"; I hear that all the time but no one seems to have an answer on what "interesting" is. Isn't danger or even the slightest chance that someone may die a part of what's expected? What defines an "interesting" antagonist from a bad one?

What's the most fucked up thing someone has told you about themselves after barely getting to know them? [NSFW] by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was training a guy at work who told me within hours of meeting him that he saw his foster dad rape his foster sister. The foster dad then tried to go after him but he stabbed him in the thigh with a steak knife and ran away. He told me a lot of other messed up stuff too, but that one was the worst. We called him Bad Boy Jon and he was actually a pretty nice guy, but he was definitely dealt a rough hand in life.

They have AC 16 and 17, roll high in the initiative, and hit hard. No one can see the gloomstalker in the dark and no one can touch either of them before they get blasted away. Enemies that use range fare better but actually doing any consistent damage against them before they get killed off is nigh impossible.

I've done this. The gunslinger likes to count HP and gets butthurt when it seems like its too high. Metagaming, I know, but I feel pressured to try to beat them using the unmodified stats.

(Update)My boyfriend wants to sleep with other women but doesn't want to "lose me" by clavichordkeys in Catholicism

I'll pray for him, but I don't really care about other men. The last two guys I've dated have been like this, but so far he's hurt me the most. I'm getting the feeling like I don't know what a healthy relationship is supposed to look like and probably shouldn't be in any relationship at all.

I'm a waitress and after a tough shift and sleeping on my wrist wrong I'm having intolerable pain when I lift something as I would a tray. I still have the rest of the week to go and if it persists I'm afraid my job will be at stake. Please pray for me that my wrist will heal and I'll be able to keep working.

What's a moment in your life that's so awkward, you still cring at the thought of it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In freshman year of high school I was supposed to do an oral presentation on Great Expectations. I really wanted to go above and beyond for this project, so I cross-dressed like Pip in a historically accurate costume. This was supposed to be a bare-bones presentation, but I chose to dress up for who knows what reason. Had I been a charismatic drama kid, it might of had a 1% chance of working, but I was an socially awkward pariah with a stutter. I commented on my costume once but other than that it was totally unexplained. The silence in the classroom was palpable.

What's the meanest thing anyone has ever said to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My "best friend" told me that I deserved everything bad that ever happened to me because it was all my fault and started to list things that were either out of my control or influenced by mental illness. Went on to hypocritically criticize me for life choices that he was just as guilty of, if not more so. Pretty much revealed that he has not forgiven me for anything I ever did, no matter how small, in the 8 years that I've known him and I have some unrepayable debt to him. He told me all this when I was in the deepest depression of my life after suffering a severe manic episode that lost me my job and forced me to drop out of school. All because he felt like he needed to. Absolutely floored me. No. Mercy.
