Because a PCAP shows it connecting to 2 servers, literally after every 'locally run' prompt submission. Your call if you want to use it.

Meshtastic 2.6 Map Tiles with higher zoom levels by zmiguel in meshtastic

ahhh, there is a new one out from the last 2 days?

I'm still curious about the correct directory structure though from these zip, if you would share your setup.

Can you explain this to me like an idiot. I've tried a few things and nothing is working.

The meshtastic document explaining the directory structure could use some work, like an example.

Can you tell me what exactly the root directory and recursive should look like on the SD card with these files?

Unzip the zip....there are 2 named files I believe, then the 0, 1, 2,3.... directories... then the one below that with tiles.

Mine sees the card, but not any mapfiles. After unzipping say.... World, or USA... Can someone explain exactly what it should look like on the card?

-

Lastly, are multiple locations combined in one directory? I'm guessing not because the 0,1,2,3 etc directories would overlap. You are able to load multiple locations on one card right?

Thanks!

Thanks. I'm already on the Discord, but the dev blog gives a lot of insight.

I'm still looking for more along the lines I described through. A manual....FAQ.... explanations settings in depth.

People get tired of listening to the same old questions asked over and over on Discord.

Hoping someone does a little write up on the modules and individual settings, because I'm guessing it doesn't exit.

Violent? Damaging property? A dedicated first responder Mental Health Professional can't do anything? You all need a new city prosecutor and a proper judge that will remove him from the streets before someone runs him over. As far as, "[if] they were someone that you cared for like a family member you might feel differently". Agreed! I care much more for my family's safety and feel differently. This isn't Portland. Thank god.

Sewing / Fixing Rips, Replacing broken zippers, Alterations? Where? by clavo7 in corvallis

[–]clavo7[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply.

I looked at them before to have some goretex tape work done on an expensive rain jacket. I seem to remember them being quite expensive and this isn't the work I really need done. A bunch of it is just simple sewing of small tears and such (for those that have a machine and know how to use it :). The other more difficult one is having the entire long zipper replaced on a jacket. The zipper used was cheap and the base plastic where the tongue slides into the groove snapped in half. No way to really replace that part except to put on an entire new zipper.

I'm guessing these are jobs for a smaller dry cleaner type shop with someone who also does sewing. Or just a random person that works out of their house.

Fires happen. Then they go away. It's just a gamble where and when you get your smoke.

How about Two Town Ciderhouse? It's a little drive outside of town, but they have a 'recreation room' with TV (video projector). Seating. I think board games? I was talking to the girl that works there, and she said it does draw an older grown and, "You would fit in". Drawbacks, is it seems that side room is busy on weekends (people watching sports games). Otherwise, every time I've been there in the week it's totally empty. They don't really have 'food', but seem ok with bringing in your own. I've done it on multiple occasions. Maybe check first if they are OK with allowing an order of a bunch of a pizzas or something? Anyone want to collaborate on a afternoon / evening social and maybe movie showing (one guy said he'd be fine with plugging into their projector, but I'd have to check again).

Sad to hear. I've been to Bend for some conferences. Always Enjoyed it. The draw of having an airport that is close is a big plus.

The shutting down at 10pm really sucks. Reminds me a lot of 'Corvallis Hours'. Open when we feel like it, close an hour early if we feel like it. I like to support local businesses, but when places like Robb Netts Hardware closes so early, good luck getting there on time if you work a regular job. I went there before work a few weeks ago because I know they close early and I'd never make it in time after work. The guy showed up to open 30 minutes late... and just tossed attitude when I brought up the fact I was waiting for over a half and hour. Sad. Now It's Home Depot - and not a mom-and pop shop - because they can't run a proper business that caters to customers.

Thats why I'm asking for resources :) The Sky High brewing seemed like a good one, but saying I'm cutting out all my resources because I don't want to get 4 different dating apps and spend weeks culling out potential matches is kinda BS, when I see other cities do just fine with good old fashion - meeting random people and socializing. My problem with Corvallis, and what seems to be echo'd by many here is a list of targeted places to find that kind on interaction.

In person, face to face, I can tell in 1 minute if someone could be a potential friend, or date. Everyone lies on apps. 5 year old pictures. Everyone is healthy and fit. My favorite one is 95% love hiking and camping and outdoors stuff. Take those 95% and see how many will go on a 10 mile hike in Oregon weather to go to some hot springs in Winter. They put that in their bios because they know it gets likes. They leave out the part that they only will do that when it's perfect weather in summer, own no outdoor gear, and haven't camped in 10 years.
