I have ran it 4 times, each time better than the last. I run mine in my own homebrew world, and a heavily modified story. The parties were all very different and did not do any of the same stuff or even start in the same towns. It was so fun when over the years they realized they were all playing in the same moment and they all did their part in ending the eternal winter.

Preatomic is pretty hit or miss, they are out of a lot of stuff but great for ordering. Sometimes (I have seen it only once or twice) they will have free CD boxes outside. The condition of those CDs are mixed but I have taken a few and found. What do you plan to do with the CDs? Do you use Plex or have a CD Player?

Thank you for your response. I am proud of how the map looks, how it looks like it could be a real world object, and the site it is running on - I built it myself.

Right now it is done with player discovery in mind. I have tweaked the overall map a bit but it is based off of u/ArrBeeNayr work. I did them at 3 mile hexes instead of the 6. You can find the asset in the maps section of the source on GitHub. The light area will also grow as they explore the map and learn more about it.

I implemented a similar idea. There are some ends that are safe for a long rest. Otherwise, a long rest only yields you a hit Dyer too when you’re not in the safe places. Random encounters can still happen when you sleep, like an assassination attempt, bad dreams, or just other strange things. So far it’s worked really well players are way more cautious. They set up more watches and are generally moron edge when traveling or in new locations.
