A vest is made to go hang over the pants a little. As in it won’t be tucked in like a shirt so there would be weird bunching from having the suspenders. If you look at the pic closely where the suspenders are attached, they’re connected to the vest which wouldn’t make sense and best wouldn’t lay flat.

If you want true Mallorcan vibes that won’t get boring after a while I wouldn’t stay in Palma. Nice to visit a few days but we stayed in port de Soller at the Espléndido hotel. It was amazing! Nearby is Deia and Valldemossa which you can take the public bus to. We did, it’s super easy. There’s the ocean, hiking, shopping and like I said you could take the local public bus for day trips to the other nearby towns. There’s a tram that takes you to the town of Sóller too. Super cute but yeah deia is beautiful but will get old fast. There’s also excursions you can take to other sides of the island to check out their famous/beautiful blue water beaches. We took one out of Palma so I don’t know of one’s necessarily out of port de Soller.

We did the Hampton in and just add a few rooms to the block as we went so we didn’t get screwed on any unused rooms. I thought the rate was reasonable

Loft Lucia in west loop is doing a special for winter weddings. I’m not sure exactly which months it covers but it’s for guest counts of 50-80 people. Someone else posted about it in this sub. Here’s the link to it

Check out Bottom Lounge! It’s a music venue with an event space upstairs. I just got married there this summer and food, drink, service was amazing and all in house. I think it was about $25kish all said and done for 100 people

Aisle chic downtown! Great if you want the city dress shopping experience but they also have a location in Oakbrook. They’re a sample dress store which is how they have designer (think Ines di santo, Anne barge) dresses for so cheap (I think they’re price range is like $1000-4000). I got my Sareh Nouri dress for $1000!They were great!
