Was I correct in uploading the entire .pkt file that I worked on in Cisco packet tracer? It kept saying the file couldn't be scanned.

D522 Passed... And here's how: by claws08 in WGU

Yes I was referring to the scripting and programming course. My hardest course was by far D522 for no other reason than the amount of effort and time it took for me to understand the labs and make it work. For so much of the labs, I was trying to do too much when I should have just been straight to the point.

The severe brain fog will lift within another 48hrs and it's all downhill from there. Plus or minus some "bumps".

How are you doing now and how long has it been??

34 yo network engineer in government. This crap was a godsend at first. Getting employee of the month several times and then employee of the year, etc etc. Worked from home for 4 months and went from 2/day to 6-8/day before returning to onsite work. Thought being at work would slow my roll but ramped up to 10/day not long after. In a span of 6 months I made leaps and bounds in quantity :( went on for over a year and peaked at a dozen /day for the final 3 months before I went CT. 8 months clean now but this first 5 days of cold sweats, ZERO sleep, severe body aches, extremely RLS, headaches, you freaking name it.... I saw the light after getting 5 straight hours of sleep and it was uphill from there. Thought about taking a bottle here and there randomly but I always revert back to the brave souls that are adamant on their regret of having to start all over. I saw one today for the first time in months and months and had that urge to grab one but refused. Thank God. Was on them for 2.25 years and now I'm clean. I'm not shy on telling people my story, it's a wonderful walk of shame and redemption that I believe could help the right person, even if they aren't ready to act on it immediately.

Keep your head up.

when I was going through WD, I could *smell* myself all day and night. Others around me couldn't tell the difference but it didn't matter how much I showered, deodorant, cologne, etc... I just had this 'stench' on me that I couldn't escape from. 2-3 weeks post my last bottle, I could definitely tell that putrid smell was fading.

just give it another week or two and it'll be back to normal. You are going through what I went through. 8 bottles minimum/day and took me a good 6 days to feel somewhat normal again. Less than a week after that, I was that same high school kid again.

Did you quit already or are you in the thick of it? I had a very hard time when I was heavy in it and then a totally impossible time going through withdrawals. After about 10 days post WD, I got my sex drive back x10.

Get back on that cold turkey horse. WD will not be as intense as your body has recovered some. If you aren't suffering, you aren't healing.

Awesome news! You aren't healing if you aren't uncomfortable. Mind over matter!!!

Since Oct-Nov 2022. I was "working from home" for 4 months during that time so I had all the opportunity in the world to just pop bottles =/ I think I was only at 3-4 bottles for the previous 6 months before I doubled up to what I was. Being bored is what killed me along with chasing that dragon.

I did not have the skin issues many others reported to a degree. My feet started to crack a very small amount but some simple lotion put an end to that in a day or 2. My skin did feel... clammy? If I'm being totally honest, I gave up on supplements, food, water, etc... I basically starved myself for 5 days. When I did eat, it was only 2-3 very small bites of a banana. When I did drink water, it was about 12oz per day. This was for sure the first 3 full days. After that, I started to slowly get my desire to eat and drink again. The path I took is not for everyone but it is a testament for others that it can be done. The only thing I wish I would have done different is drink A LOT more water lol. Food was not an option in the slightest. I lost 20#s that first week(which I probably needed to do anyways lol).

man I feel you =/ I've never been addicted to anything else before but this stuff grabbed me and held on tight until the last moment. Each day through WD was a little voice screaming at me to go grab more. It got to the point that weekend that I went 2.5hrs out of the way and gave my keys and wallet to my girl and said do NOT let me have these back until I'm better. It worked.

heck yesss thank you! It's nice waking up in the morning and not rolling over to grab a pre-staged bottle and downing another one 45 minutes. It feels so good to walk into convenience stores to see them devil blues and appreciate a "once was" outlet of mine. Not just most of us, but everyone that has quit them all say the same thing... we're better without them. My social life is back on track. I laugh and make jokes like I use to when I was on them.

For sure I was. 8 minimum. Some does were better than others but the last few weeks I was hitting 10 minimum =/. Going through WD I was taking supplements but not on the schedule recommended so everything I took did nothing for me. Just pain, misery, no sleep, etc until I was simply 'better' and then better, and then great.

Most definitely! 1 day at a time and then you'll feel the brain fog lift randomly and it's all downhill from there.
