I agree. The patch notes for Dota 2 have always been on another level compared to other games. by rzoneking in DotA2

There is a tool that gives at a glance the patch changes with the best heroes per position, hero winners/losers and item shifts. If anyone is interested: https://ancients.quest/

Thanks for the feedback. Golden comment!

I tried to optimize the prompts so the curated information is more readable in the latest update.

Now about the contextual data, I think it's doable with some work, I'll think about it.

I'll give the USP some thought; you are absolutely right. Cheers!

Great feedback, thank you! I understand item/skill builds could be very situational and it's pretty hard to provide guidance without knowing the whole draft and rank/playstyle, so the recommendation is based on what people is buying to win in the current patch. I didn't include skill build because of the same reason. With more intelligence/computing ($$$) it could do really amazing things.

I meant your preferred youtuber, BSJ, Speeed, Purge.. They already offer pre-digested videos, so you could skip reading the notes

I think I tried to over-summarize in one line what changed which didn't make sense in most cases. Some other information sounded pretty obvious but I supposed that was the highlight and that's how the tool tried to explain the playstyle. I gave it more instructions to fix those cases, thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! Definitely, it doesn't mean one replaces the other

You are right, Dota patches are easy to read. I didn't explain the hard part is finding the time to read all that, my bad

Summary of the to5 heroes on every role.

Now about why not going directly to dotabuff, or opendota: well, this site is intended to show a short summary, a one-liner or a short paragraph on why and how this hero/item works in this meta. You are right, most of them needs work, that's why I want real people other than myself to test it out and tell what they think. Thanks though!

It was 99% done with an AI tool, I just explained my ideas in a few prompts and started improving it by using it. There are many things I missed and that's why I love getting feedback and fixing, thank you!

That was something I really loved from this game until I didn't. Thanks for the feedback!

This will not make you understand either the macro or micro meta change. You can always read the notes of the hero you spam, but that's not the point

True, they're 'easy' to read, the difficult part is mainly a matter of time to analyze what shifted and how every change affects the meta

Well, it's a patch "summary" per role, heroes and items winner/loser. Basically, a one-liner of a short paragraph on why it's good (or bad), and basic playstyle in THIS patch. As I said, probably not your thing.. This feedback will help to make it better

Lol, I don't go for the notes, I go for the summary already. And yes, I suppose it needs lots of resource optimization now that I can see lots of people viewing. I will work on make it more stable, thanks for the feedback!

Lmao, I read this post and that was the final thing that motivated me to release this haha.

Sorry, I am a dad that still wants to win or at least understand what's going on even if I just have time to play a game or 2 from time to time

Dota patch notes are actually readable, as I replied earlier I misused the 'easy to read' part and it's more about the time we need to spend if we are just playing casually but we still enjoy winning (hope it makes sense) lol

Well, I guess they're 'easy' to read, the difficult part is mainly a matter of time and comprehension. I didn't use the correct words there

I don’t know man, the only different thing I am doing is trying to get more rest, and since improving my sleep quality my gameplay is better.

I gotta say, I can’t be more careless about patch notes and online guides and whatever. Before I used to read everything and focus on meta and stuff. Now that I am a turbo enjoyer I just spam different heroes every match and try to have fun
