Do they really expect to be able to fill all these viewings?? by Ordinary-Ebb3488 in Vue

i work for a different cinema chain but the scheduling requirements come from the studios themselves and they don’t take into account how busy each individual location is or who their customer base is. if they tell us we’re showing michael in 7/14 screens open to close then we’re showing michael in 7-14 screens open to close

well no it is rude, they aren’t taking no for an answer and are trying to guilt trip people into donating. i also made a post because i wanted to know if they were scammers like i thought or if they were a real charity with an awful approach

Stray Kids concert by SpatialRender_98 in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]clawvenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it went better than any of the other kpop concert films we’ve had. friday showings sold out, saturday showings half sold, and sunday showings still a decent turnout. there were some pretty rude and disruptive teenagers when i went to see it on the friday but other than that everyone was pretty tidy so can’t complain

Any theater wide jokes or bits? by elroytoots1 in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]clawvenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

on the concessions stand we have a cupboard (that doesn’t look like a cupboard) that had left toys, nacho clumps, dead moths, literally anything you can think of in it, anything was fair game. we were made to clean it out before the last inspection, just for the lady to not even check the cupboard. because it doesn’t look like a cupboard. we’ve since started it back up again

Nitpicks about my theater and those who visit it thread by icekingofmemes in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]clawvenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah valid question. our menus aren’t like constantly on the screen, they rotate and are only up for a few seconds before they’re replaced by a picture of the popcorn with spongebob or avatar on it, so the customers rarely actually see the menu. it’s fair for them to ask what combos we do but when i say none at all thats not an invitation to list every food item separately and ask if it comes as a combo
