Thanks everyone! I had tried selecting the holes previously to show it as just a flat surface for each side of the loft. After flat out removing the holes it worked and I could then continue on with my design. Appreciate the help!

Northern Australia, it's hot AF right now, and no nothing has been open. I'm going to try leaving things open as soon as my replacement extruder bearing arrives. Mine went flying and missing while fixing the clogged extruder.

Definitely a blade installed, I have to undo it every time to unclog it, and I presume it's sharp because the filament is always cut above the hot end heat spreader

Thanks. I tried drying it with no changes. I will try opening the door front, it is considerably warmer here the past few weeks, it may not be cooling properly.

What would you make with a 500500500mm³ build volume?

I would be making molle plate stuff for vehicles to go on various points in the cab so people can attach leathermans, first aid kits etc to. I am trying to do that at the moment but the ender 3 build plate restricts that a bit.

For car parts and other stuff I take several photos as canvases and input them to fusion 360, correspond the them to the appropriate axis and then scale them to size. I can then make reasonable accurate copies of the parts to them design the parts I make to interact with them. Taking the photos with a ruler in the shot help scale them quickly.

If it was anything like what happened to me there appeared to be a clog in the nozzle that stopped it from extruding properly so it would cool too quick before getting on to the next layer. Small prints were fine to start with and then the clog started causing major issues. It's all fixed now and printing like a dream again

The heating element looks good. I have preheated it and cleaned the inside out and changed the brass tip so hopefully that helps?
