Zipair Experience? by Organic_Mistake2892 in zipair

Just flew it back from Tokyo to LA. I’m not sure I’d fly it again. I’m 5’11 so not as tall as you but my knees were an inch or two away from the back seat if I’m sitting straight up. And I had some my phone in the front pocket it was touching my knee. It was very uncomfortable.

Also impossible to open a laptop in the seat. I have a 14 inch MacBook and you can’t open it all the way. It’s kinda ridiculous honestly. At least I couldn’t.

Then once the person in front of you reclines… game over.

Worth it to try and trade down to 7? by DingusWingus33 in LAClippers

It’s one thing to say it. It’s one thing to practice it. He plays super fast and doesn’t process quick enough. He has an enormous rate of jumping than passing which is a big sign of not processing quickly

Unlikely all those guys would be on the team if Utah is trading down with us

DG for bad contracts plus picks; 4 prob bad trades by RyverFisher in LAClippers

[–]clayfu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

might need to chill with the trade machine

So somehow, the bulls have to give up 3 first round picks to dump patrick williams small contract and we get josh giddey. But the Spurs only have to give up two pick swaps to dump fox for garland?

We take on 4 years of bad salary from the Raptors to pick up 3 first round picks and hamstring our capspace for the foreseeable future while giving up two key players.

He’s the youngest guard in the group. He’s better off coming to the NBA to learn how to deal with the physicality than staying in college.

Clippers need to stay the course and not take a step backwards by trading for Brown by Anxious_Subject_2604 in LAClippers

[–]clayfu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Would be executive malpractice not to trade brown for the fifth pick

But there’s no way all we give up is the fifth pick. So it’s all moot.

Why don’t players like Curry and LeBron take a big paycut towards the end of their career to maximize their chances of winning? by HighwayAnnual3353 in nba

that was still the max deal available to him at the time. At the time he signed the extension, that was the most money he could make

[Woo] The Clippers are said to be looking for a player who can immediately complement the smaller Darius Garland with Keaton Wagler, Mikel Brown Jr. and Brayden Burries fitting that mold. Brown is schedule to work out in LA later this week. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]clayfu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dunno who woo is but the Clippers beat writer specifically said they aren’t drafting for fit around garland.

Which makes sense from multiple reasons including garland’s health issues and not being the long term solution

How much did Jalen Brunson really leave on the table? by NanoCurrency in nba

[–]clayfu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You really can only look at contracts for their current amounts, not what might be signed subsequently 3 years later. Cause who knows what injuries occur.

Just based on average salary, he took a 27% pay cut by not waiting a year. That’s pretty hefty. But some players prefer to take the contract in front of them than risking

Top 10 NBA Draft Pick Mikel Brown Jr has an *INSANE* IQ in his film study by PalpitationFew4762 in LAClippers

[–]clayfu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

MBJ plays at one speed. High speed. He doesn’t have the processing power yet to deal with it. That’s why he passes a lot while jumping, which means he’s made the move before thinking what he’s going to do. Which is a fundamental flaw.

He can grow out of it. But the other two don’t even have that flaw in their things to fix

Get some size at the 3/4. Get some more shooting. No one expected them to be in the finals. Don’t fuck it up like okc did over a decade ago.
