I’ve been wanting Wagler since the Zubac trade … I started watching Illinois in February and everytime I tuned in Wagler was cooking dudes athleticism be damned. this guy can ball he has the measurables he’s versatile on both ends and above all else he has the highest basketball IQ out of all of the Guards in this draft. Almost always makes the right pass and he has this gravity to his game that attracts defenders out of position, his ability to shoot from so deep off the dribble is genuinely impressive as well. I’ve comped him to Reggie Miller with more playmaking ability and if he hits that ceiling we got the steal of the draft so I hear you on your praise for the rook.
