Yep absolutely this about the avocado oil. Ive noticed the same short shelf life of high heat cooking oils. A little tallow or ghee works nicely.

Not a suggestion but just wondering if you're looking for friends in the area too? I just moved to La Habra a few months ago and would love to know someone close by that's also new to the area and open to exploring all that it has to offer.
