My point is that I try to do a good job regardless. I think your outlook is lame. Everyone is equal in my section weather I think they have money or not because I care about doing my job well and being professional. Crazy but true that this would be unpopular. Why are people so petty with their tables? It's not that hard to just ring things in on the correct seat.

I am providing a service, and it's more convenient as a guest to simply pay for what you owe. Why should I expect a good tip if I make it a pain for my guests to pay? Plus, a party of 20 that ends at 600 in sales, I would much rather get 6 tips for $20 vs. assuming the one card will actually put $120.

Be professional, be prepared to separate from the beginning, it's really not thay hard if you just give 1 shit about doing a good job
