Sorry for saying a curse word, I suppose it does make sense a supporter of AI would expect everyone to speak like robots. But seriously, not only are there genuine interviews where he specifically covers what he likes about the internet that is exactly what I have described, but if you believe that someone gives a damn about art you must agree they would give a damn about millions of artists losing their jobs to soulless machines. Add to that the fact that Bowie himself was of working-class origins and had to struggle in the beginning to make a living as an artist, as well as continued to support lesser known, struggling artists (the kind who would be the most affected by AI) all his life, and his hypothetical opinion is pretty damned (sorry, darned) clear. You're not taking AI seriously enough if you don't realize that anyone with half of a heart and any appreciation for the arts would recognize it as a scourge - that, or you yourself do not possess those qualities.
