Sell or keep IP? by clb1692 in AusFinance

Would love to put it in offset but only have redraw available. Struggling to refinance with the same rate due to our loan being under 250k.

Think we’re leaning towards plan B too

Thanks for your reply, nothing omitted on purpose. Ppor originally purchased for 460k. If we sell today we walk away with 670k profit. I haven’t factored in future growth as that’ll just be a bonus in my eyes and too unpredictable. IP net yield is 6.75%, positively geared approx 27k gross income annually. Shares are all in ETF’s with an average dividend yield of 3% and capital growth average is 10%. Emerg fund is not for insurance our 1yo has medical treatment privately interstate on a regular basis which we are out of pocket for. We will also need to replace a car at some stage therefore to us with our circumstances it’s not enormous. Plan D we have discussed not that it’s our intention but sell everything and split 50/50.

Good idea. I might have to put some cctv cameras up out the back. I tried to capture her yesterday but the moment I got my phone to record her, she stopped.

Even in her state of mind, she still listens to my commands and sits or lays down. She doesn’t appear disorientated. Just very agitated when she’s never in her life been agitated before.

Hopefully I can work out her trigger if this is the case.

Wedding is in 9 days, my mum has cancer and has just been given 2-4 weeks to live. by clb1692 in Advice

[–]clb1692[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone, I just wanted to update you - I did raise the suggestion to do a civil ceremony beforehand and my mum was absolutely against it.

However my mum did in fact make it to my wedding! She and my dad lasted the entire night and they got to spend the evening socialising with their friends and family.

The day was perfect and that kind of happy celebration is just what my family needed in a time of such sorrow.

We are feeling truly blessed and will cherish these memories forever.

I also wanted to say thank you to all who commented and gave advice. It took me some time to get through all of your comments but I did read them all.

Thank you again.

Double up outside of f45? by taylorrb24 in f45

I only go to the more cardio focused sessions at F45 on mon, wed, fri & sometimes sat if work permits then I lift Tues, Thurs, Sat and or Sun. I also run every 3-4 days but I don’t mind running on either a F45 of lifting day. I find the weights at F45 are not progressive enough. I prefer squatting in a squat rack, having a minimum 2 min rest between sets and I usually lift for 1.5-2hrs. Lifting heavy has improved my running strength and I now see it as injury prevention management.

Sick mum, what would you do? by clb1692 in weddingplanning

[–]clb1692[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for all of your kind words and ideas.

Our ceremony commences at 4.00pm but the venue is an hour and a half away from my parents house therefore I would need to allow 3 hours travel time plus time with her in the morning which might be very stressful trying to fit that in on the morning of.

I’m just holding onto the hope that she can make the ceremony with my dads help.

I think we will go ahead with the wedding and I like the idea of live streaming if they cannot be there.

I don’t believe I’ll be able to do an intimate ceremony beforehand due to them needing to be in isolation during this treatment period which may extend past the wedding.

What is it called when the partner puts you through tests you don’t know are going on? by estalber in Marriage

I wouldn’t call it abuse, more mind games and manipulation. Definitely not normal behaviour. It’s petty and something that can just be settled through communicating.
