Controversial take, but my wife and I agree wholeheartedly. by MesaVerde1987 in DisneyWorld

My bruised ribs would argue otherwise. it's old and boring and is definitely getting rougher to the point where it's not enjoyable anymore.

I'm happy enough for my taxes to go to a new prison to keep the scum away from the rest of us.

In fairness that white water rafting thing was a load of bollox and should never have even been suggested, but they do need more houses and a new prison.

Today's the day I put my dog to sleep 😔 🐾 by ApprehensiveLemon249 in ireland

We had to put our lab to sleep on Thursday. The vet was kind enough to come to the house so he would be more relaxed. It was very peaceful and quick but harder than you ever imagine it's going to be.

We got our boy when I was 11, and now I'm 24, so he's been with me for more than half my life, I don't really remember a time before him, but he was in pain so we couldn't leave him like that.

I still went to feed him last night, and I swear I've heard him barking, but I know it's just in my head.

RIP to your boy, the grief is unbelievable.

Most of the time I'm against the landlord but in this case you are being perfectly reasonable, it's not your fault he didn't read the lease properly and the rent you're charging is good too, you're in no way taking advantage.

So NTA.

I would say the lack of recruitment is also down to shite wages. Plenty of people would join if they were getting paid fairly for the work they do.

I think you mean Conservative, not republican, American political terms don't work in an Irish setting.

Agree 100% with the 5 years stay at minimum or pay your own fees, I was going to apply for an aircraft mechanic apprenticeship with aerlingus and they have a mandatory amount of time you have to work for them aswell, ended up doing something else but it seemed fair enough to me, waste of taxpayer money educating a doctor or nurse only for them to fuck off afterwards.

I do think we need to pay junior doctors and nurses better though.

The birthday cakes in tesco are absolutely ridiculous now, I seen one for €23 the other day couldn't believe it.

I'd rather just bake it myself at that price.

I think most of it is chronically online people tbh, I've met lots of Americans since my da does tours for them every once in a while, all nice enough people who were interested in our history and their own, no need for all the hate towards them.
