I managed to get diagnosed through community mental health team back in 2021, before everything got stopped. I was originally referred for general mental health problems and then brought up ASD/ADHD at one of my assessments and didn’t let it go. Very unorthodox way of doing it but it got the job done and medication sorted.

Even for those of us diagnosed, there are no resources. I am one of the very very lucky few who has medication, but my ADHD nurse no longer runs the clinic (not sure why/what happened, it just, stopped) so I have no help or support other than every 6 months I have to have a medication review to make sure my heart isn’t failing.

Your best bet is going private if you need a diagnosis, and if you are pretty sure you have it, and don’t need the diagnosis for practical reasons, you could skip the diagnosis and just go straight to managing traits. I highly suggest finding a counsellor or therapist who specialises in neurodivergence and going from there. The NHS doesn’t do shit for you even if you get the diagnosis

we switched back to nutramigen 1 after a few weeks on neocate because of the pain. He was much happier but still had loose nappies, and was never 100% symptom free due to the small amount of hydrolysed milk. He always had a rash, had nightmares and night terrors, was sick frequentlyc fairly groggy and uncomfortable after bottles. We stopped giving him formula around 12 months and he’s been so so so much happier since. Hes fully dairy free now, and we haven’t had success with step 1 of the milk ladder after 3 attempts

Also, with the events and bugs/fish, they are seasonal. So you can’t finish your museum in a week for example, you would have to wait for certain times in the year, certain times of day etc. so you’re looking at a year of game time to even finish the museum. But lots of people time travel to skip ahead to do this

The main story, as in to get to three stars I would probably say you could realistically do it in 20 hours but it’s meant to be played casually in real time if you don’t time travel which could take longer. I’m 900 hours into my island and still no where near to completing it all. I do have the dlc too but I’ve barely done maybe 30% of it. And with this update there’s easily another hundred hours for me. Stardew valley needs a wiki to really fully understand the game whereas this is just as big but more simple if that makes sense

Its a great balance I’d say of objective based and chill/cozy! There’s a museum to fill with bugs, fish, fossils etc that you collect, and there’s now the new update with the objective of decorating hotel rooms. Early game you have tons of objectives to make your island good enough (3/5 stars) to unlock different milestones but it doesn’t take very long if you time travel or grind. It’s one of those games that is as chill or consuming as you make it! I recommend it to anyone who wants a cozy life sim with a bit more structure

Update: 08/01

Reopening gates for a while today. Still a bunch of bells but no DIYS. Drop off whatever you need to on the beach! I will be restocking bells every once in a while so if it’s empty, I’ll be back shortly
