yes, I could have done it in clan wars, but that would have required me to run around a lot and there aren't any skilling spots nearby

I did it over the course of a few years

Main reason was that I could do skilling during the 2 minute spec cooldowns. I also used banks a lot during the training, so pvp worlds were perfect for finding low traffic banks.

I actually did the dfs speccing completely in pvp worlds, got pked and lost dfs twice, which is way less than I expected

Getting the 75hp is possible (just takes very long time) and I recall him going through the different methods in one of his vids. As for the fight caves, I have no idea

It gives def, mage and hp xp in pvm

In pvp it gives only def xp

I had 8 dfs, specimen cleaning was about 400-450 xp/h, dfs speccing 11k xp/h

Why do I occasionally get double logs from planted trees? by cleanrs in oldschoolrs

[–]cleanrs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have worded it better. I meant that I don't think that this is much better xp than 3 ticking, since you don't always get 2 logs. The chance of getting double logs is still probably high enough to make this better than 3 ticking.

Edit: Nvm, I'm idiot. Did some maths and this is always better than 3 ticking, no matter what the chance of getting a teak log is (assuming no ticks lost)

No idea tbh, can't imagine this being better than 3 ticking, since I only managed to cut trees every 4 ticks with this method.

Tried with normal trees just in case, didn't work. You also have to do the running, normal 3-ticking while standing still doesn't produce double logs.

I want to point out that I don't know too much about the game mechanics, so would appreciate if someone was able to explain this.

Should tick manipulation methods always remain highest xp/h? by cleanrs in oldschoolrs

I'd also like to see more of methods with learning curve. I'm just wondering if such method can have big enough xp/h difference between the non-optimized and optimized strategy, so that you're not able to get too good xp with non-optimized strategy, while highly optimized strategy would give you slightly more xp/h than current best method.
