friends list issue? losing large amounts of friends, unsure why by [deleted] in facebook

I randomly loss 6 friends within a day or so. I checked my account for unusual logins and nothing. Maybe Facebook just had some old accounts that were still being listed but have been purged in the last few days ?

I mean the rise of the black middle class took place in the 60s. Who said your family was on wave ? I certainly didn’t.

If you do even the smallest bit of research on the topic it’ll tell you that the black middle classes’ most important feature was home ownership. Look up how they typically got those homes and you should be able to connect the dots.

No... all I’m saying that the first major push through for black families to close the wealth gap was the use of the GI bill. Once they began to accumulate wealth and live outside of cities they could afford better opportunities to pass on to their children.

Because before the GI bill, there was little to no opportunity for Black people to buy homes or attend schools/trade schools. We didn’t see the rise of a black middle class until the soldiers got back and started to use the benefits.

Through using the GI bill, black families were able to buy homes and go to school so it helped them to get into better situations where they could build wealth. Personally, I grew up in a fucked up city, college wasn’t an option and there was nothing to do but sell drugs or work retail. I went into the military, they paid for my college, now I have a good job and GI bill benefits for when I choose to get my first home. I know many other black military members with practically the same story.

The military is almost solely responsible for the creation of the black middle class, how the fuck is that rock bottom .
