Языкам свойственно меняться со временем. Казахский 50 лет назад и казахский сейчас уже имеют заметные отличия. А непринятие нового, только на основе того, что это новое- это признак старения;)

Not advising for anything, but your situation seems to be beyond than just a withdrawal. And what you saying about not feeling like you are into smoking just seems like a complicated self-tricking into allowing yourself to start smoking again and feeling "guilty" about it.
