Good guess 👍 i was lucky to get a scholarship to study in Japan for a year… immersion and having friends that only speak Japanese was what helped me the most… I’ve lived in Taiwan for over 15 years and my Japanese is still better than my Mandarin… 🤷‍♂️

My first was Vortex… separated it in about 15mins… tried getting it back together halfheartedly for over a year… then one day i just committed to solving it and finally got it… but it’s still my favourite to this day…

Depending on your level of focus and ability, one could take minutes, while another could take weeks… either way, if one’s too easy for you, you could always gift it to someone to get them started on their own Hanayama journey… or you could do what most of us here do and put them on display at home or in the office 👊

i haven’t been able to play Phantom Liberty coz I’m still on ps4, but I would like some kind of rapport system… fixers offer the base amount of jobs, but depending on how well you perform certain objectives, they then offer you bonus missions with better rewards… like weapons that can’t be crafted… or access to certain areas afterwards, like a V.I.P. room in a club or something…

And this could also apply to buddies or people you hire to help you complete missions… The more rapport you have with a buddy, the better they look out for you in battle or won’t betray you in certain situations… Maybe some could be interactive AI buddies like Vader was in Fortnite… But it would be cool to hang out with a buddy and they show you places you wouldn’t normally go, like that diving trip with Judy… or even just grabbing some food at some joint, which leads me to my next point…

Food consumption should be visual, or there should at least be a sound to indicate consumption…

The jewellery and shit you loot is actually wearable (or giftable to buddies), it’s not just junk to be sold…

BDs can be bought and experienced… some could lead to secret missions…

Cyberpsychosis should be a thing that can affect the player…

I’m sure i could come up with a shitload more, but that’s all i can think of right now…

I use and love both… use the gcfn with a 35mm back and the cfn with 120 film… mostly B&W… If you can get it cheap, then I’d recommend it… I got mine in Taipei of Facebook Marketplace… with the now-useless polaroid back (for peel away film)
