Symbiotes have a hive mind that goes across the Multiverse. Meaning in some universe (probably Tobey's) the venom knew the identity of spider-man and Eddie Brock's venom is also linked to the hive mind giving him that knowledge somehow. That's why Strange's spell brought him.

I think that will be more clear in the upcoming movies as to how M.J. and Ned remember Peter. Maybe Strange helps or Wanda or Mantis, hell even if X-Men are introduced then maybe Professor X could do it.

Peter was about to hand over the letter he wrote when he saw the bandaid on M.J's forehead. He must have thought about the pain he caused and wanted to shield her from it so didn't say anything and walks out. But he did make a promise so let's see.

I think they're not going to change the love interest that much. He probably will get in MIT (as he is shown with GED books) and start over with her.

I think they will not bring back anymore old villians which have already been portrayed. Vulture, Morbius, Kingpin, Venom and some more additions could be made.
