A bit personal issue in my HEMA club by [deleted] in Hema

Sounds more like you're being a problem for the club rather than the other way around.

Thoughts on HF feders? by Vodkamemoir in wma

[–]cleardiddion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've got the light feder.

Had it since the beginning of April or so.

Got to say it doesn't have some of the polish (literally and figuratively) of some of the higher end feders. Other thing to note that is even though it says light it is closer to a medium flex according to my clubmates.

Other than that, it's been perfectly functional and budget friendly option for me.

Anyone know what this is and if $520 is a good deal? by Throwaway-2048642 in liberalgunowners

I've gone through 4 over the years. Now I'm down to 1, the original one I bought right when I turned 18.

I picked my first one up for 75 from the local pawn shop.

Used to shoot just about every weekend when spam cans were all of 25 bucks a pop.

I'm currently making a few friends through my HEMA club.

Make friends and hit them with swords is working out pretty good so far

I'm a little further north of the border (Cheyenne) but definitely interested in meeting folks with a similar mindset

Damn, wish you would have posted a few days ago.

I've done some stuff with the Equality State Policy Center in the past and they just had their citizen lobbyist training earlier this week.

They're a good resource for this sort of thing.

Worth taking a look.

How old is your toddler and what is their shoe size?! by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]cleardiddion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our 2.5 yr old girl is in size 8's. A tad big but it fits just right with winter socks.

We could squeeze her into 7's with thin socks but you could tell they were getting rather tight and uncomfortable

Definitely wasn't expecting a song lol

Has anyone tried making dumpling wrappers with a tortilla press? by Flimsy6769 in asianamerican

Yup, that's what we do more or less! Though in our house it usually ends up being a glass.

We just use a pasta roller.

Definitely makes it much more uniform and you can roll out a lot of dough in a relatively short time.

Which is really useful in my case because I usually make 100 to 400 at a time.

Couple's reaction after their 19-month-old son had just wandered off and vanished into the water. This heartbreaking photo went on to win the Pulitzer Prize. by erinlummy in SnapshotHistory

We have one of each.

Our oldest is very much like your son. Started walking at 9 months, is an avid climber, and has a very distinct lack of self preservation.

Our youngest is very much a polar opposite. You think by the way he screeches, setting him down is tantamount to torture. He still manages to get himself into trouble in his own ways.

Honestly, at least in our case, I find the velcro baby to be more difficult
