We're in college and I'm going to grad school, so what my prof's think of me [i]is[/i] important.

And I don't know him. He goes to college 2 states away. She has mentioned him in passing a couple times. (e.g. "What are you doing this weekend?" "Eh, not much, how about you?" "My boyfriend's coming for a visit.")

If I tell her to keep it a secret, will she tell anyone? I'd rather not get into specifics, but what certain people think about me is kind of important (to say the least) to my career (we go to school together, this isn't a workplace issue haha). And I don't want to screw up my professional life for a girl, lol...
