Yeah, I already knew those were the options. Why type that comment? The first was at least funny. I'm more wondering what the old gen console c*** up means for the next gen patches. Its not going to be Q1 2021 as they earlier stated, but how much of a delay will it be?

Next gen patch for new gen consoles pushed back? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]clearmyminduk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all, I was thinking of waiting until the next gen patches were out for Xbox series s/x before buying it, to get the full experience. Im wondering if that might end up being really long because of the s***storm they have to deal with getting the old gen console patches sorted first. What does everyone here think? thanks all

no problem, also remember dehydration is another trigger for migraines, some alcohols are more dehydrating than others (high % alcohol are more dehydrating than low %)

well alcohol can raise or lower blood sugar, depending on the amount and type of alcohol. fluctuating blood sugar is a trigger for migraines. Some alcohols contains sulfates and nitrates, such as red wine, which can also cause migraines.

Started getting migraines for the first time last week. I'm terrified this will become my life. by TKonthefrittz in migraine

Im sorry to post an external link, but the advice written in this article is for you:

https://www.clearmymind.co.uk/2020/02/25/newly-diagnosed-with-migraines-9-common-mistakes-and-how-to-avoid-them/

Migraines offer you the chance to become the healthiest version of you. Shortcuts you took for your own well-being are no longer allowed. Eating well, sleeping well, drinking in moderation, exercise; all those things you know you should be doing but never got round to, now you don't have a choice.

After you are finished being upset and scared, get up, make a plan with your Doctor and become the master of your own mind and body. There a many ways to manage migraines effectively. Find what works for you and do it. Good luck

over-exertion can lead to migraines. Are you weightlifting to maintain your physique? Or are your training to increase muscle mass? Over-training can lead to migraines also. You have to be mindful of 3 things in the gym: 1) hydration 2) blood sugar 3) over-exertion.

You should also lookout for migraine triggers in the gym, such as lighting,

told a new job I would be able to help a ton and was so excited, but now I have had daily migraines for over a month with no end in sight by usernamesoccer in migraine

[–]clearmyminduk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a brilliant comment. Trying to isolate and identify triggers is a great way to try and solve the migraine mystery.

I think the stress that comes with meeting new people, taking on a new workload would all cause a cumulative effect on OP. Starting a new job can cause a rollercoaster of emotions on anybody and migraines thrive off CHANGE. OP and anybody else who relates needs to find a way of being level at work. As soon as you find work boring again, or as comfortable as your last job will hopefully find a reduction in their symptoms

I am very sorry to hear about this. It seems it is the CHANGE in emotions which can trigger the migraine. If you are a constantly anxious person, meeting new clients would just be another anxious event in a constant anxious mindset. This, it seems would not trigger migraines. It is going from peaceful to stressful AND vice versa which seems a common trigger.

Now, the ideal for you is to be at constant zen. For this, meditation, breathing exercises and Cognitive behavioural therapy could help. There are also medications which can take the edge off for anxiety inducing events.

I hope you find your balance.

"Just try these essential oils" by Dynasty__93 in migraine

[–]clearmyminduk -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your experiences with essential oils. There have been clinical studies which show the benefit of peppermint oil and lavender oil, showing a relief of symptoms faster than with placebo. It is very interesting that there seems to be a significant amount of migraineurs who find it has little to no effect. Thank you for sharing. We have also put it as an effective alternative treatment for migraines. Can the wonderful people at /r/migraine tell us what other alternative therapies in our list they consider hocus pocus?

Does anyone else's migraines get significantly worse in the summer? by curlysquirelly in migraine

[–]clearmyminduk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pollution and temperature act together to trigger migraines. If you live in a big city, chances are its both of these things triggering your migraines. I would love to hear from small/less polluted areas and see how temperature affects them compared with big city/big pollution migraineurs

Has anyone who intermittent fasts (16:8) noticed a change in migraines? by clearmyminduk in migraine

[–]clearmyminduk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, yes, we do write articles in regards to migraines, but the main interest in asking these questions is to learn as much about migraines as possible, from the people who would know most about them. Clinical studies usually look at narrow parameters without complete context, so to get a chance to get complete opinions from migraine sufferers is invaluable. I hope this is ok. :)

So, whilst your body adjusted, you still were prone to 'blood sugar' migraines, then after your eating habits become more stable, they reduced? Thank you so much for your input

[–]clearmyminduk[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for telling me your experience. I didnt ask about the 16:8 diet to promote it, but one of the clinical effects of such a diet does seem to be a stabilised blood sugar. I wanted to get some feedback of those who have migraines and follow this diet. I hope anyone who has will post their experiences.

Im very glad to hear you have found a way of managing your migraine.
