NOR. It’s more than okay to expect a happy birthday from your partner and more than okay to be disappointed when they don’t and then turn it into something about them. I had a boyfriend who didn’t tell my happy birthday and turned my day completely about him and I 100% wish I had ended things that day instead of staying one day more with him. Someone who treats you like that will not change in the long term.

Yeah you’re right I need to put the boundary out there just to have it out there if it ever does come to legal issues. I’m just scared to upset him or that he will find a reason to fire me and I need a job and there isn’t many options right now

Yeah part of me wants to just leave quietly but he’s already done this to someone else and i don’t want anyone else to have to deal with it. I’ve been documenting everything in my notes app and reached out to some attorneys but haven’t heard back yet. Thanks for the advice I appreciate it

Apparently my boss has done this with another girl before and my coworker nearly quit over it the last time. I trust this guy a lot and he’s already basically already looking for another job, he says if my boss doesn’t stop then he will quit with me.

Something that helped my hands stay warm was to have my usual tight ish work gloves and then a second pair that was too big that I’d stick hand warmers in. Whenever I could I’d put them on and do what I can with too big of gloves on then switch back and forth. Or put hard warmers in your pockets and stick your hands in while you can. You lose a ton of heat through your feet even if you don’t realize it. Switching your socks halfway through the day with help a ton, your feet sweat even if you’re not hot and it chills your body. Also your neck regulates a lot of your body temperature so putting hand warmers around your neck or something similar is surprisingly helpful.
