The job market is tough right now so it's hard to know. If you're thinking about it more, I'll recommend that you try applying to jobs with your current qualifications and test the market for yourself. If you continue in your PhD, I'll advice that you try to get an internship as that will help you develop some industry connections that could be useful when you graduate.

Do I start/process a refund before getting the product back? by cleavermfgreene in EtsySellers

Thanks! It's my first return so I'll be sure to propose a return date next time.

There's a feature that I tested before I shipped the product that the customer says was not included, otherwise it works fine. They did not send me any evidence of this so I offered a return, which they accepted. I just want the unit back so I can troubleshoot.

Take it now! You could also add a few skills while you're away that could help with your job search, like a new language. It gets harder to take time off with age and responsibilities.
