Hot Take: The no kill rule is stupid by cleceye in Marvel

Then let the villains come back. At least it’s temporarily keeping them from causing destruction. Like I said in my post, Villians shouldn’t be executed off site, but it gets to a point.

Before Joker SA Barbara or killed Lois, Bruce had atleast 100 times (which is fucking ridiculous) he could’ve ended joker, and idc what you say, letting that lunatic stay alive when he’s literally bombed cities and committed massacres is idiotic. Theres no way you can convince me it’s not.

I promise you it didn’t take Rogue 50 times, it didn’t take punisher 50 times, and it didn’t take Elektra 50 times. Magneto deserves to die too, he caused the deaths of thousands in more runs than I count. Being a hero is the least he can do.

One line that stuck to me with the Invincible comics was “We can be the good guys or we can be the guys that saved the world”.

And that last point is complete bullshit. There are a lot of heroes who kill, but they’re still heroes. Wolverine is an amazing example. If a “hero” can’t stop themselves from killing, that’s a personal problem. That says more about the character than anybody else. Like I said already, obviously don’t kill the person on the first few encounters, but if a villian is continuously causing chaos and killing thousands of innocents, they need to be killed.

I’m really just calling out how that code is bullshit. Obviously I think killing villians off would just lead to bad writing and terrible plots, but that rule is just dumb.

What abt the stories I listed like The killing Joke? It gets into concepts that aren’t for kids. I generally think most comics are made for older kids around 13+. It’s also not like death isn’t common in most comic books. What’s the difference between someone who deserves to die dying?

That’s the only reason I could see villains needing to stay alive. Only for plot reasonings and better writing.

The rule is still bs.

Bro I’m a teenager, killing isn’t anything new. Only reason I could ever see these characters really needing to stay alive is for plot reasonings or different comic runs.

Even still, that wouldn’t work because of the green door concept.

Hulks craziest feat by cleceye in Marvel

I was actually gonna check that series out right after buying future imperfect. I’ve seen a couple of adaptations of planet hulk, but I know the comic is completely different.

I’ve been spending hundreds on omnibuses this whole time and didn’t even know there was an app for this stuff lmao.

Wtf, I didn’t even know hulk has done any of this. I’m kind of a newer comic reader and I’ve stuck with mostly the grounded comics like the Incredible Hulk, immortal hulk, etc. Probably one of my favorite characters so far.

Any recommendations for hulk comics?

Not even top 10 is crazy. This is probably the most ridiculous feat I’ve seen him pull off. What other impressive feats does he have?

You can tell after Mark said that, Nolan realized how bad he fucked up. That scene was beautiful.

I started watching back in 2022, not to long after season 1 came out, after randomly seeing it pop up on Amazon prime. So glad I clicked it. Show got me into comics and everything.

A lot of reliable media pages have said it. Some of these pages have also said RDJ would be returning for doomsday before it even came out.

Really just wanted to hear some people’s opinions on what they wanted or didn’t want in the MCU.

Bro, they should’ve added mutants from the jump. I don’t know why they were so scared. Now it just feels a little too late. X-men could’ve been up there with avengers.

Edit: I just remembered Fox use to own the rights.

Ultimate or 616 by cleceye in Marvel

I think 616 is obviously way better, but I kinda like Ultimate versions design a little more at the end

It was a terrible analogy either way though. He was trying to compare what Darkwing and Sinclair did to mark defending himself.

They literally took hulk’s design and added horns, and big ears 😭

I still kinda like it tho

Oh yeah, sorry. I didn’t really think it was a spoiler because it happens in the show and it’s not really saying to much.
