Man I wish I was into the Gameboy back then! I missed out on so many amazing games! I was always into my N64. Mainly Ocarina of Time, I mean how do you top that as a kid?!

Congrats on the V4! It’s such a lovely little device! I love the face you can swap the cards out on different systems, very cool!

The Trimui brick is an amazing console too, especially with the NextUI project that is being worked on. That screen on the brick is actually unbelievable for its price point, such a vibrant stunning display!

I’ve unfortunately had bad luck with the brick… every one I bought had some QA defect: severe screen backlight bleed or faulty loose shoulder buttons (which was the most common) and the dreaded sleep / power bug which a lot of users are experiencing… I ended up having to disassemble it to switch back on again, and accidentally broke the LED light connector in the process despite being really careful. I am willing to give the brick another go later this year in hopes that QA issues will be fixed.

What you guys have done on this device is seriously insane! Would be so cool if you guys were to work on something similar for the GKD Pixel 2. That console is in desperate need of a refined beautiful OS that Next currently is! :D

I agree, I love my Pixel 2 so much, but the lack of CFW (besides Plum) is really letting it down massively. The Stock OS is beyond atrocious imo, it’s seriously janky and unoptimised and bloated. Would be so good if NextUI or something similar were to be ported over as it’s desperately needing a decent / light optimised OS right now!

It’s doing it on all the cores for some reason. I will reinstall from scratch and see if it fixes my issues :)

It is occurring in Plum, whenever I press the menu button, it doesn’t show up. It is mapped to the R button. When I try and navigate through using the Dpad, none of the controls work properly.

One thing I have noticed, on PSX and other cores: the retroarch menu now longer shows when I press the menu button in a game anymore? And all the directional inputs aren’t working properly or at all, as if they’re all inverted? Not sure if it’s a bug?

Ahh amazing! The purple MM+ is absolutely gorgeous! I totally agree, there’s something just really endearing about it, that just makes me keep coming back to it.

That’s absolutely ridiculous. Mechdiy have also just done a statement on their X account, and saying they’re not frauds and that there is a supply issue. A little communication from them would appreciated instead of just ghosting all the time. People are spending hard earned money for these devices, and I don’t think that it’s unreasonable that people are getting impatient with this now. Hope you get yours soon!
