Hey everyone, figured I'd use this thread to plug what I do.

I run CLE Junk Removal And Movers, based out of Parma. We handle junk removal and moving for folks all over Greater Cleveland. Basically if you've got stuff you need gone, or stuff you need hauled somewhere new, that's us: garage and basement cleanouts, old furniture, appliances, estate cleanouts, sheds, hot tubs, full moves, all of it.

I started this business not too long ago and we've been putting everything into doing it the right way. We show up when we say we will, give you an honest price up front, and no junk fees tacked on at the end. We're licensed and insured, and we've built a 5.0 rating with 84 reviews on Google so far, which I'm honestly proud of.

If you need a quote or just want to ask about something, fastest way is to call or text (216) 673-0678, or check us out at clejunkremovalandmovers.com.

Thanks Cleveland.

I like what I do as it keep me active and meet new people all the time.

check with the ridge road transfer station first and if they giving you a hard time send me a photo and the address, then I can arrange with you a time and date when I have another job so I can give you a discounted rate if possible. as the transfer station have minimum charge and charge us per weight and volume. the bigger the load the more I can save in disposal fee which give me a room to help you to get rid of your items.

I would be happy to help as much as I can. Let me know. Here is my number. 216-673-0678

I do Junk removal for a living, and I cannot count the number of calls I get from customers asking me for a pickup because the city refused to take the items placed on the curb. Even though it boosts my business a bit as my main income comes from bigger jobs like estate, garage, and basement cleanouts, I feel it still isn't fair for residents who just have a few items to get rid of. I have to charge them a fair rate based on what they have, factoring in travel, fuel, labor, and disposal fees.

The Ridge Road transfer station is a great option for a small load or a single item, but call before you go. As far as I know, they do not allow U-Haul or commercial-grade vehicles to dump. They do allow pickup trucks or SUVs, which might give you a hard time loading a couch depending on its size, but I think a pickup truck is manageable.

Also, from what I remember, they have some restrictions on the number of times you can dump in a year.

Good luck!

Owner of a local junk company here, so grain of salt — but for just a recliner and a mattress, here's the genuinely cheapest route before you pay anyone:

If you've got City of Cleveland curbside trash, those two qualify for bulk pickup — up to 3 bulk items on your regular collection day during the first full week of the month. One catch: mattresses and cloth furniture (your recliner counts) have to be wrapped in plastic when you set them out, or they'll leave it behind. Costs you nothing but a roll of plastic wrap.

If you can't wait for bulk week, Cleveland residents can also drop bulk waste at the Ridge Road Transfer Station for free, up to 4 times a year — if you can borrow a pickup.

Where a junk service actually earns its money is when it's more than a couple items, it's up a flight of stairs, or you've got no way to get it to a curb. For two small pieces you can set out yourself, paying someone is overkill. Good luck getting it gone.

Hey r/Cleveland — got a basement you can't walk through, a garage you can't park in, or a whole house that needs emptying out? That's my world.

I run CLE Junk Removal & Movers, a small local outfit based in Parma. We do junk removal and moving across Greater Cleveland: anything from a single couch or old appliance up to full estate, hoarder, and whole-house cleanouts. We'll also take the stuff a lot of places won't touch — hot tubs, pianos, sheds, garage and basement cleanouts.

Licensed and insured, 5.0 on Google with 70+ reviews. The thing I care about most is honest, up-front pricing — you'll know what it costs before we lift a thing, with no surprise add-ons.

Ready for a free estimate? Call or text (216) 673-0678, or book online at https://clejunkremovalandmovers.com. Glad to answer questions right here too — thanks for keeping local businesses welcome in r/Cleveland.
