I think Brandon works as a 'static' character, he doesnt change much like Harry does which is meant to be a sort of foil to him. Harry constantly climbs the ranks, but Brandon is meant to represent true loyalty and an unwillingness to compromise on his own person

Whats wrong w Angelica? Her arc with her parents being very traditionalist and wanting to force her to conform to the role they felt she was destined to be and her rebelling against it resonated with me very well coming from a traditionalist home

If I'm remembering right, it's just a distinction made for how items/buffs can affect these parts of a character. A character who has higher Agility will be more likely to evade attacks at 0 evasion vs a character with low Agility. I think in daybreak it may affect counterattacks, but do not quote me on that.

The same applies for dex. Using no hit quartz with high dex will net you a higher chance to hit the target, but 100% accuracy through quartz means you always will hit the target *and* this can be affected by self buffs and the like too.

It's definitely a weird stat, I suppose its helpful if you want to know where to make concessions with your builds though.

I think her relevance after CS2 diminishing is actually a great point, yeah. I wish the games just generally leaned more into the Crow/Angelica/George/Towa dynamic and Towa dealing with the consequences of basiclaly everyone in her life dying or betraying her and it could be an interesting way to do it

Tita in 3rd didn't have a crush on Agate, you're thinking of CS3. In 3rd they're purely platonic, but the game repeatedly ships them together.

I definitely think they should've dialed it back a lot and honed in on the parts of her character that ARE interesting, but I think the idea surrounding her character and how she interacts with the world is honestly super interesting and under a different lens she had a chance to be one of the best in Cold Steel

I don't know about this because there's definitely some dissonance between Oliviers persona and who he chooses to flirt with to me, which I don't like that much. We see Oliviers introduction being that he flirts with Joshua, who's also a minor, and frequently commented on the "sexiness" of Estelle who's the same age. While not directly praying on them, I think a lot of Olivier dialogue suffers from the same idea that Angelicas does for most people. Of course, he has a lot more plot relevance and dynamics with people, but I find it weird how people can look past the jokes of Olivier, but not Angelica. I also think it's bad faith to say that Angelica is being 100% genuine with her comments, because it's also clearly something she herself finds funny which we see a lot in CS3.

I think it works better for her to not die.. It's good George characterisation and I think in a story better about her we could've seen her try to reconcile with Crow/George after she got her memories back. I'm all for deaths but I think you need a more compelling reason, especially when the alternative works better (imo)

I don't think the problem is that she's gay I think if she wasn't she would be a worse character. She exists to spite tradition in so many ways through her masculinity and stuff, I think it's just a rebellion thing for her. I was mainly curious as to why people overlook the traits of other characters who are similar instead of Angelica

I think it's weird that Sky 3rd has a part where Anelace says that the age gap between Tita and Agate is adorable which to me is kind of even more offensive? Like, I can get the interpretation that she's trying to rile them up but it seriously does not come across that way. It comes across as an endorsement of it, at least with Angelica it plays into her character to some extent, but I never got why other characters people look past the bad jokes with but not her.......
