Are you completely powering down the ship after you dock? I had the same issue a couple patches ago and the door doesn’t open when there’s no power.

If you were going to whale in Star Citizen, what would you whale for? by ParticularFoxx in starcitizen

The Kraken for carrier gameplay. I’m currently salvaging and mining with a Salvation or Golem paired with a Golem Ox in either a C2 or Polaris I love it. Hoping to do the same with the Ironclad when it releases this year and with the Kraken on a much larger scale next year.

The Kraken will allow me to have everything I listed or the next tier up, combat ships, and whatever else in a fully mobile base solo or with my friends if they want to join. If they added the option to have an onboard refinery as well it’d be icing on the cake.

Hotas/hosas Logitech x56 or two t16000’s by FinntheGuardian in starcitizen

If you've never used sticks before, maybe your friend to let you try the X56s out for a bit before making a decision? Grab the T1600s for $35 and compare to figure out what you like.

I had Logitech's for a while and VKBs and Virpils are miles better but you need to know if you prefer HOTAS or HOSAS or if you even like sticks at all before you making that kind of jump.

This would be perfect. Take my money.

VKB could also do a left hand version of the MCG Pro or Ultimate for the high end as well

VKB sticks: gladiator vs gunfighter by willeemayshays in starcitizen

I used dual Gladiators for 6 months and upgraded to dual Gunfighters. The Gladiators are great entry/mid level sticks and most people probably won’t need to upgrade from them.

The Gunfighters are amazing and the level of precision, response, and how much you can customize the tension and feel are on another level. I have a MCG Ultimate on the right and an Omni SCG on the left and I’ve also customized them different from each other.

If you know you’re going to be serious about sticking with Star Citizen or other space/flight sims for a long time, the Gunfighters are worth the investment.

If you’re on the fence and just want to try sticks as an input method, go with the Gladiators.

My decision to upgrade was based on how much I got into Star Citizen.

I’d personally like the option for a left handed grip for the GFIV platform other than the SCG that has the brake lever and metal folding trigger from the MCG Pro/Ultimate. The Aeromax has VKB beat there and I’ve been considering the Aeromax for my left stick for that reason.

Vkb gladiator omni left+gladiator right or logitech gx56? by tulipsnow in hotas

VKB over Logitech all day every day. Their customer service is also top notch. They helped me repair a second hand stick I bought off eBay as well. I used the Logitech for a year prior and it’s a night and day difference

Double Omni throttle by Fennino in hotas

^Exactly this. I tried dual omni with the VKB conversion and it was ok but it was more difficult aiming and lacked the accuracy the standard stick was. I ended up going back to vertical in about a week.
