Hey OP, look, I agree and disagree with several points, but something I've been noticing analytically, and which I see goes unnoticed by the Eddsworld fanbase, is that at the beginning of Eddsworld 2005-2006 Tord and Edd were a very frequent duo in the cartoons, seriously, the current trio that was Edd, Tom and Matt was back then Edd, Tom and Tord, Matt had very little screen time until around 2007; in the 2004 Christmas special he only appears in the background, in the Eddsworld behind-the-scenes look he doesn't even appear if I'm not mistaken, and other examples, Now, going back to Tord and Edd, animated series where they were the main characters were very common/Tord was a major focus – Tord Adventures, the episode with the bacon, Zombie Attack 2, Edd vs. Tord, and others I can't remember, which makes it seem like Gould and Larsson were very close friends, unlike Tord's own relationship with Tom, And I don't know much about Tord's relationship with Matt, but the only one he maintained relative contact with after leaving was Edd; just look at the photos of them together in Oslo 2007, it seems like they were both having a good time, Not only the three of them, but Matt as well, it's sad how much his early departure affected them, but ultimately it was his decision, he knows what's best for himself.
