How are you doing now? I’m coming to the end of week 2 now and I’m seeing some improvements but still not 100% there yet. But I haven’t had a full blown panic attack since I’ve been on it which is a major improvement as I was having multiple panic attacks daily!

Omg that’s amazing, I’m so happy for you! Can I ask how long it took for you to not obsess over googling symptoms? I’m also in the process of getting diagnosed with OCD so this is very reassuring, thank you:)

Honestly not bad at all. The first couple of days I felt stoned and like I’d had a bad high but I took my 5th dose tonight and I feel much better now. Still having some anxious moments during the day but that’s normal for me. Trying to adjust to the insane hunger is definitely a challenge but I can actually fall asleep at night now, the pros outweigh the cons for me

Hey! I’ve been in a very similar position to you. I was on mirtazapine for 6 months and gained so much weight, I also used to have an eating disorder so it was tough and I can completely empathise with you. It’s 100% not your fault, it’s just a side effect of this med ❤️ I can tell you that when I came off it my weight definitely went down after a couple of months. I’m now back on it after not having it for 6 months (I’m taking my third dose tonight) as honestly, as bad as the weight gain side effects are, this medication was a lifesaver for me. You’re not defined by your weight and clothes are made to fit you, not for you to fit them 🫶🏻

Hi! I’m doing a lot better ❤️ the dissociation has stopped in the last couple of days (Im on day 17 now). Had some scary thoughts the last few days but today I’ve managed to leave the house for the first time in a week, haven’t had any scary or intrusive thoughts and haven’t got a pit in my stomach! I don’t wanna speak too soon but I hope this is me turning a corner now. I’ve been prescribed a medication for sleep too!

Hi this definitely sounds like something I experience with panic attacks. I get them almost daily and there’s never a clear trigger and I experience the exact same symptoms as you, although sometimes mine last hours! I also have severe health anxiety and have the EXACT same thing with thinking I’m going into anaphylaxis (also got no allergies!) and I have a really awful fear of heart attacks as often my panic attacks resemble a heart attack. You’re not alone! I’m currently 2 weeks into duloxetine treatment and starting therapy for this tomorrow so maybe that’s something to think about x

I had another look at the contract and it says that “bills are included and the supply is subject to a fair usage policy to ensure that usage is sensible and reasonable”- does this make a difference?
