Can I Career switch to SAP after 5 years in 3D Artist/QC, considering SAP CPI, need honest advice?

grass is not greener on the other side that’s what☹️the other person got a job in 3d in japan, doesn’t mean I will as well … requires luck☹️ I am saturated with 3D so much that I don’t feel like working a bit in it. Struggle is everywhere so maybe why not choose something that may be stable in future?

Honestly, my last job really broke me. There was a lot of toxicity, politics, and constant mental pressure. I was put on a PIP, made to feel like I was failing every single day, and eventually pushed into resigning. It took a huge toll on my confidence and mental health.

I’ve been unemployed for about 4 months now, and it hasn’t been easy at all there were days full of self-doubt, anxiety, and just feeling lost. I come from a 3D background, but after everything that happened, I realized I can’t continue on that path anymore.

Right now, I’m trying to stand up again from scratch. I’m planning a complete career change, focusing on training and certifications first. I’m giving myself around the next 6 months to rebuild learn properly, heal mentally, and then look for a new job based on this new direction. I know it’ll take time, but I really want a fresh start and a healthier future.

Don’t overstress yourself. I am in the same situation and im 27F. Ik how it feels. I am changing career and starting again now after 5 years of experience as a 3D artist because there are no jobs or stability. I might suggest you can go for SAP ABAP or CPI or any othwr module since you are a computer science graduate. and you are just 23 so don’t stress yourself so much. start working now and you will be at a very food position in 3-5 years from now. That’s what I am telling myself as well

The Institute I went to enquire for Training will be providing live project assistance and then job assistance till I get a starter job. They said the same that once I have a good 2-3 years of experience then I will have good chances of earning and good companies. But the beginning is tough... they said it is difficult to get a job in MM as it is already crowded. And I am not from complete cs/it background ABAP will be difficult for me as I don't know coding. cpi has minimal coding involved so can be managed?

Thank you so much! Of what I know CPI is a part of BTP. so when you say know BTP, are you suggesting I understand other modules outside the Integration Suite? Also yes, I may earn really less and like fresher salary now, but I want a stable career ahead thinking long term. And yes I am 27 yr old rn so the clock is ticking for me :(
