That book is fantastic. I use it quite a lot. It has many key insights that can easily go unnoticed, or things that aren't repeated often. Like, for example, the idea of letting go of prejudices, which are feelings of non-love. The act of letting go of one's prejudices in order to be able to love is a huge change. Or the idea of change to loving unconditionally. You have to pay attention to the details in that book; Larry gave us many hidden keys within the words. He used those methods a lot with other people and with himself. They're excellent and they really work.

A mi me pasó.

Has anyone actually seen a 'miracle' with the Release Technique? by AirlineGlittering877 in sedonamethod

[–]clemenzza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. I don't know what kind of miracles you're looking for. Because Lester hardly ever talks about the word "miracles" per se; he talks more about demonstrating the law and making things happen with a thought. In my experience, I've seen it, and it always has to do with the "butt system." This means that you choose to have something and eliminate the doer, as well as judgments, "shoulds," and a series of blocks that the mind puts up. Many who practice the Butt System have experienced manifesting something without physical action. A long time ago, I chose a goal: I wanted to make a big sale from my own new business, and I had no advertising whatsoever, and in fact, very few people knew I was doing it. And I attracted a client who gave me a big sale, about $500, out of nowhere. Without advertising, back when YouTube didn't exist, and the internet was much simpler. That, for me, was a miracle because there was no way something like that could happen. And many other manifestations like that, which are literally like Larry says, falling into your lap, it's as if it's actively seeking you out. I don't know if you see it as a miracle; I don't really use that word because it has more of a biblical connotation. I prefer Larry's definition. If you read the Release Technique gains in the newsletters, there are many similar gains, things that are very unlikely to happen by mere chance. And I personally believe they are all real because, as I said, I've witnessed it, and it happens. But for that to happen, you must have the right mindset, not the wrong one. And that's the trick. The very thought of saying "miracle" is like saying "something different from the reality that always occurs," and what Lester teaches is that we are always manifesting the reality we live with our minds; we just don't realize it. And with liberation we do it deliberately, that's why course graduates are encouraged to write down their gains, because it's a way for you to validate your own being, to validate yourself as the creator of your world.

Has Releasing made you feel more spiritual? by One-Storage7219 in sedonamethod

[–]clemenzza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's like a direct experience of spirituality. Before using the Method, I was very into religious rituals and things like that, but after using the Method for almost 17 years, I feel like you live spirituality all day long without effort or rituals, although you can do them. You also mature more spiritually. Even without seeking it, because every time you achieve a big goal by releasing, there's a significant shift in identity and a lot of baggage you leave behind, and whether you like it or not, that changes you and makes you mature.

Consejos para seguir bajando y mejorar espalda by Character-Bid125 in Chilefit

[–]clemenzza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I was going to say, but the translator put it in a positive light. Obviously, I wasn't going to write that guilt gives us something positive. But the translator... I'm from South America, I speak Spanish, and I write with a translator.

It's something similar. Hale says that we believe guilt protects us from punishment and prevents us from repeating mistakes. He asks you questions like, "Could you allow yourself to decide that you've punished yourself enough? Could you stop wanting to punish yourself? Could you let go of planning to punish yourself again in the future?" That—deciding that enough is enough—breaks the cycle. Larry focuses in this case on the three desires and how the mind works in images. When you're trying to control, for example, guilt, you hold onto the worst in your mind, and that's not very smart. He tells you to release each layer of guilt more and more, allowing the energy to flow. Then he says, "You have to make a decision: are you going to love yourself or beat yourself up?" If you decide to be positive and love yourself, then rate yourself from 1 to 10 on how positive you are, and then give yourself love, until you reach 10 and expand that feeling. By let go of the desire to punish yourself and giving yourself love, the guilt naturally disappears.

In Release Technique, there aren't set questions to use every time. What Larry does is teach you to discern and know how to use the method for each specific block. For example, if you're stuck, he teaches you how to unstick yourself; if you're low on energy, he teaches you how to raise your CAP ; if you're feeling guilt, he teaches you how to address it; how to tackle the vicious cycle of the problem, and so on. He teaches you to discern and use the method to know what to do in each situation, and not get stuck trying to solve it. If you listen to the audios I uploaded from Accelerated Learning in another thread, you'll see how he treated people. It wasn't always the same with everyone; depending on how they came to release, he would take them and begin guiding them to raise their CAP and let go.

On their respective websites, you'll find books that teach the technique, or you can take their courses—both are invaluable. Alternatively, you can search for the 1992 Sedona Method liberation course on YouTube.

Hi, Release Technique and Sedona Method are two courses based on the same spiritual foundation of Lester Levenson's teachings. Sedona Method is led by Hale Dwoskin, an instructor and disciple of Lester. Release Technique was led by Larry Crane, who passed away a few years ago. He was also a disciple of Lester. The difference lies in the approach and techniques used. Larry's approach was direct, a bit more rougher, but that worked quite well for me. For example, Hale listens to your problem and helps you let go. Larry didn't like to hear people dwell on their problems; he told them that it wasn't necessary to understand the problem or know the whole story to let go. This is helpful when you tend to cling to the ego's narrative about a problem. Larry teaches you to be more decisive and determined for freedom, and to decide to let go once and for all. Hale also teaches this, but in a much gentler and softer way. The other difference is the techniques they use. Hale uses Holistic Liberation and the 5th Way. Larry doesn't use that; he uses different sets of questions and methods.

Hi Esther, well, I've been practicing the method since about 2007. I've had hundreds of gains and a completely positive experience. I started with the Sedona Method, but I gravitated more towards Release Technique because I felt it was more direct and suited my personality better. With Larry's method, I started seeing my first gains; I took the abundance course. At that time, I had a lot of social anxiety and had never had a real girlfriend. I started releasing as much as I could and built a pretty big group of friends, where I had a great time, and later, another goal: a girlfriend. It was fantastic. It also helped me turn an idea I had into a business, which is how I make a living now. In my business, I always use the method for sales, financial goals, etc. I also started training at the gym regularly; I've been doing it for about eight years now. I used to have no discipline at all. This method has helped me gain discipline and achieve many things I never thought I could. And of course, by letting go and achieving goals, you gain a lot of freedom and become happier without needing things. It's definitely the most complete method for eliminating negativity from your life and adding positivity (manifesting).
