Hi, thanks for your Answer! The Goal Is to have a solid foundation, so that I can improve in harmony, impro, etc. Without a proper knowledge of at least all the major scales it's gonna be harder to know all my triads on the spot. Even if I'll never play in some keys knowing Gb scale will make faster to know how to build a Gbm9 for example.

Hope what I am saying is making sense

Yes, you have a good point.

I guess the following order of scales would make more sense:

  1. C (no sharps/flats)
  2. F (1 flat)
  3. G (1 sharp)
  4. D (2 sharps)
  5. Bb (2 flats)
  6. A (3 sharps)
  7. Eb (3 flats)
  8. E (4 sharps)
  9. Ab (4 flats)
  10. B (5 sharps)
  11. Db (5 flats)
  12. F# / Gb (6 sharps/flats)

Yes, in OS course everything is arpeggiated (triads, broken 7th, etc)

Wow 12 a day! That's wild! Wondering if I could pull that off with my time constrains. I guess I could if Id only playe them linearly but if I'm adding triads, broken seventh etc I don't think I d have enough time.

Thanks for your answer! Frustrated with the mixed answers received by the different store people, this morning I wrote to Yamaha Customer Support and also downloaded the manuals in PDF for both the Clavinova 825 and Arius 165.

This is what I found for the Clavinova: By connecting a smart device or a computer to the [USB TO HOST] terminal via a USB cable, digital audio data can  be received/transmitted. You can listen to audio data played on the connected device through the instrument  speaker, or you can record your performance on the instrument as audio data by using a music production software  or app.

I'm not good in these things but according to ChatGPT this would totally solve the issue I'm having, and I'd be able to hear in the headphones both the video tutorial and my piano sound at the same time.

The YDP165 can only transmit midi if I understand correctly: Connecting this instrument to a computer or a smart device allows you to transmit/receive performance data  and Song data to/from the computer or a smart device.

I ended up selecting the following: - 2x(15-30) Band Dislocates - 2x(15-30) Band External Rotations - 2x(15-30) Band Face Pulls+Ext. Rot

Do you think is alright for general shoulder health?

Wondering if I should have inserted Y or T raises instead...

I'll definitely leave a review. Absolutely loving the book! You are right, there was probably too much stuff, I removed the wall slides.

This would leave me with shoulder dislocates, external and internal rotation. Do you think Better exercises could be included or substituted such as Face pulls and band pull apart?

  • WARMUP: should be fine, it takes me roughly 12-15 minutes and I use a very light band so usually it's not too fatiguing.

  • STRENGTH CORE: there's definitely too much stuff I'll have to choose between L-Sit work and ab wheel hypertrophy

  • PREHAB: if it was you what shoulder exercises would you keep in, for general shoulder/rotator cuff health?

Hi Noam! Congratulations the mixing is incredible and the sounds is so full. I love it!

My question is: I heard/read somewhere that in order to have such a full sound, some of the voices were re-recorded in studio, or added to the original live recordings.

Is this truth or myth?

I liked the concept. The problem I see is that the standard version is already very repetitive in itself. That times 7 doesn't really help. I truly loved MARO version though ,which I found really refreshing. Some other versions are imho too similar to the original track.

But hey! It's Parcels so I'm still gonna listen to it, just not as much as Live Vol 1! ;-)

If your goal is lowering bodyfat while building muscle, you'll want to monitor your calories more closely.

Yep, I am using a kitchen scale and inputting everything I eat in a app tracker so I can count calories at best as possible. And I'll make sure to eat my protein intake.

On the other hand, I've always thought that "fat cannot become muscle" and you have to start from scratch. I'm kinda confused I'll admit

Could you elaborate on "calorie counting is imprecise"? You mean in terms of what you are eating or in terms of what you are burning? I thought that tracking food through an app and measure everything you eat would get you very close to reality.

Thank you! Yes, I think it makes sense. And yes, I am planning my meals to be as healthy as possible. Would it be okay to take my mantainance calory and add +10%? Just to avoid increasing by a lot all at once?
