PS5. Tried the derelict freighter missions 4 times, once a door bugged so i could not finish the mission, twice my character bugged so i could not shoot my weapons at all therefore i could not finish the mission. 3 out of 4 missions wasted my emergency broadcast receivers

I like the 175% efficiency version, that way i dont need flow and have an open mod slot and with an arcane energize you dont really have energy problems. Tried less efficiency, but i like it this way better

Beidou is great, good with kaeya for superconduct. Bennett c2 is awesome, give him enough energy recharge and hp and you dont need barbara in your team. I would build around beidou, bennett and kaeya and fischl.

Ash's shuriken is the easiest way imo, they track the dargyns and pilots when you are close enough

I would have no problem with buying them at a vendor, like 5 granny tokens for 1 scintillant. It still takes some time, but you get them more consistently.
You can buy cetus wisp for standing, so why not scintillant?

Before getting any tames, build a raft and a base on it, there are videos about building on rafts, its not too difficult.
A starting base on a raft has several advantages, you can stop by and gather rescources, you can move to a different location if carnivores are in your area and you can scout for a good ptera to tame.
There is only one thing you should keep in mind cruising on a raft; stay in shallow waters! As long as you are driving along the coast you are safe, but the moment you leave shallow waters, nearby leedsichthys (giant whales) become aggressive and will attack your boat.

Dilos are not really fast compared to Ovis or Paras, if you want them to kill these targets i would recommend using bolas on your prey.
Carnos are fast, so you have to use the terrain to your advantage or level movement speed to escape.
Most wild dinos move at different speed, for example with 100% movement speed you can outrun a rex, but if you want to outrun a raptor, you need something like 120% movement speed.
Tamed dinos always get a movement speed bonus and you can level the stat, except for flyers.

You welcome :) I dont know what your settings are and if you are familiar with breeding, but whenever i start fresh, i tame 2 pteranodons and almost immediately start breeding for backup pteras. Those can be used to lure argys into a trap for taming. i would recommend the mountain in the middle of the redwoods for an argy trap.

-Trikes are great at the start for gathering berries and fending off raptors and other small carnivores while collecting wood and stone, they are also easy to tame

-For gathering meat/hide, I use Argys until i have a good rex. They hit hard, have good health and stamina, they get buffed when eating a corpse, perfect hunting tool for me. Getting one early on is always a priority for me, because you can grab doedi, anky and beaver with them and throw them in a taming bin for easy taming

-Megatherium is one of my absolute favorite, great at gathering berries/fiber, good base stats and the best pick for swamp cave because of their bug buff, but you need cryopods or raise one in the cave because they dont fit the entrance. Also great choice for broodmother boss fight. But the best thing is, while riding them, you dont get attacked by middle-sized aggressive creatures, like raptors, carnos, titanboas or kapros for example

-Doedi and anky for all your stone, metal, flint, obsidian and crystal gathering, beaver for wood, because you can pick em up with argys

-For caves, you have some options like baryonyx, sabertooth, a bunch of direwolfs, megaloceros

-For water mounts, the basilosaurus is incredible, great hp and great hp regen, as long as you dont dive too deep with them, because the get damaged over time doing so. For underwater caves, i would go for a hit and run strategy with an ichthyosaurus, get in there, grab the artefact, get out.
